Please consider signing this petition allowing spectators at non-League football. I cant see any reason why the Government should be preventing spectators at lower level clubs and without spectators many of these clubs will fold. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/334366Petition Allow the return of spectators to football at all levels below national league This petition has been started with the intention of securing the safe return of non league/grassroots football to secure the future of football at a local level. More details Non league football holds a special place in the community for young and old, the Government's unclear guidance has led to some clubs withdrawing from their leagues and a few folding all together, all because the Government hasn’t made a clear enough decision regarding the start date of fans attending games. I request that all football below the national league north/south be allowed to return along side current government guidelines in terms of socially distancing and sanitation. Tracey Crouch (ex- Sports Minister who I have a lot of time for) posted on Twitter: "Football has many wonderful layers but non league is often at its heart and soul. With fewer fans it's easier to make clubs covid secure but without them coming back soon their future is shaky so we've written to Sports Minister calling for non league clubs to #LetFansIn." www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53817206

You could also argue a case for the Vile as they could seat every season ticket holder in their ground and they'd still have more than triple the social distance between them in just using one stand. They could also have a toilet of their own should they need to go. Gouranga.

At the risk of being boring (Im used to it anyway!)
Please, please consider signing this petition. I know it's not as exciting as the Champions League but I would argue it contributes much much more to our culture and communities. Its a huge part of our football heritage.
It's incredibly important for grassroots football and all the many thousands of people in this country associated with it.
Going to a non-League game is probably going to be a lot safer than going to a Supermarket, Pub, Restaurants or many other places now functioning and without this so many of our clubs will go out of existence.
There are 7000 football teams associated with 5,000 football clubs in the UK who cant survive without supporters.

In a weird way non-league teams might see a spike in their attendance until the Football League clubs are allowed to let in fans again, I know I'll probably go and watch the new Bury team and maybe Radcliffe Borough/Prestwich Heys when they start the season......

Why just in the lower leagues though? During this pandemic, Norwegian authorities have allowed a maximum of 200 spectators in all football matches. I'm sure other countries have done the same. Obviously everyone sits/stands in 3 feet distance - I really cannot see that as a risk - should be implemented in the UK as well.

The likes of Leek Town should get some pretty big crowds if higher tier football is unavailable I'd imagine.

The new Bury AFC have been drawn away to West Didsbury & Chorlton in the FA Vase on 19th September, that should draw a big crowd. Our lot are away to a team in Hull

I hope more spectators go and support their local non league clubs. It'a a vital source of income. It baffles me that many of the so call 'passionate about football' fans have never set foot in a non league ground but prefer to sit behind their screens and watch the sport they 'love'. An ideal opportunity arises as quickly as Sept 1st when the FA Cup commences with preliminary rounds and a few local teams are at home these include Hanley Northwich Congleton and Stone. Why not go £5/6 admission, cheap beer and pies and a bit of fresh air?

I was just looking at the draw, noticed 1874 have a home draw, may take a walk up if fan are allowed in, legislation is due out today. The CV19 risk assessment has ben done at our ground, after a closed door friendly was used as a test with the FA, it was submitted back and a response like 'it's at your own risk' came back ...

Why not go £5/6 admission, cheap beer and pies and a bit of fresh air? Agreed. I got into it when I moved to Sheffield and was finding it difficult to make Stoke games because of work schedules, and I didn't want/couldn't afford to pay £30+ to see Sheffield Wednesday so I started going to Sheffield FC. Pub is more or less part of the ground. It was £6 then. I really loved the experience, especially being able to stand on the touchline, you feel part of the game, always have a good chat with the subs as they are warming up (or supposed to be!) a bit of banter with the linesman! I was also pleasantly surprised by the standard, some decent players playing at Step 4, I saw Jamie Vardy playing for Stocksbridge in one of my first non-league games. I can leave home 20 min before the game and be comfortably in the ground for kick off. Not everyones cup of tea, but I would recommend it and look forward to getting back to the games.

I'll do my bit to help out Stafford Rangers. People need a football fix, clubs like these could see a big attendance increase whilst the big clubs aren't allowing supporters in.

Stafford Rangers could be one of the clubs who have actually turn fans away Attachment DeletedThey will be allowed up to 600 which is fair enough I guess. I think they average about 500 usually but might expect more because of the increased appetite for live football. I guess these figures could be relaxed further if everything is going well. Bury are going to have their work cut out. Only 300 allowed for the their games. South Shields have sold 650 season tickets but only allowed in 600....mmmm!!!
