So Wolves have been found guilty of breaching FFP
Their punishment = They can only register 23 players (not 25) IF they qualify for the Champions League next year
Sorry, did I say ...punishment!!!
What kind of disincentive is that?
This is not an anti-Wolves post...this is a just me trying to understand how the hell this FFP supposed to be working??

The way Man City and PSG among others legal teams have torn FFP apart I think its left it relatively toothless at this point... I can see this being the only punishment they thought they could give out without Wolves taking them to appeal and giving them another kicking

Seems to me that UEFA have decided that it is too difficult to control the big boys and have reverted to their stock position of school bully by preventing smaller clubs muscling in on the big clubs gravy train. The key point that you have missed is that Wolves have been ordered to break even by 2021, which basically stops them buying better and more expensive players, unless they sell their better players to fund the purchases. Can't have smaller clubs doing too well in Europe and making the competitions less attractive in the Asian TV markets.
