With fans not being allowed in the stadium for at least the first couple of months, will we be able watch streams again? Can’t find much info on it atm Even when fans are allowed to return there'll probably be empty seats left for social distancing, at least for a while - possibly the rest of the season. So my guess is that we'll have streaming again.

Surely some sort of season ticket pass could happen. We’re 12 months away from being in stadiums so something has to happen

The club should also offer an option for streaming to all not just season ticket holders. I’m not able to get to all games due to distance, home life and money but would love the opportunity to watch the game and contribute to the club.

That’s when I personally think we may be back in stadiums mate. They may look at reduced capacity sometime this year (can’t see it) but I don’t think we will be back in grounds for a good 12 month. I think a streaming season ticket option would be the way forward for now if it can be done

A streaming season ticket (home and away) is surely the way to go. I would add an option to convert to a stadium seat later in the season if available and the ticket holder feels safe to take it up. ⚓️

That of course will have to be considered,as there will be many people who simply can't afford season tickets.

The problem with having any volume of people in the stadium is not the outdoors bit, but the indoors bet. You have people squeezing past one another in the concourses, queuing up in confined spaces to get food and drink, piling into the toilets and so on. That's a real hotbed for something like Covid to hit, and I'm not sure how to get around that besides telling everybody to bring a packed lunch and a bottle to urinate in (if you can resist lobbing it at the linesman).

not so bad for prem teams and championship i guess, a little bit more money around for us currently and the infrastructure is in place
but for the lower league clubs, thinking the likes of Harrogate Town here how will they possibly sort this, surely the costs of setting this up would be crippling to them

Can you imagine how pissed off you'd be as a Premier League fan with no 'legal' streams. They're just driving people into the arms of illegal streams
Hope our options are more sensible

I believe the majority of clubs in the Championship subscribe to the I Follow system. I also think the Stoke streams shown as a result of the Covid outbreak at the end of the season were I Follow.
It would seem logical to me for the club to join this system and offer Season Streaming tickets.

Just found this
Sorry id already posted
Premier League clubs' bid to stream their own matches to fans FAILS, meaning thousands will be unable to watch their team in action next season A request by a group of Premier League clubs to screen own matches has failed The next Premier League season is set to kick-off behind closed doors again Not all matches are set to be televised leading to fear illegal streams will be rife

Having taken the option of streams last season, as part of my ST Refund, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.
If they offered a home-and-away streaming ST for next season, even at full price I think that would be decent value. Some may argue for a reduction in price, which is fair enough.
iFollow would require ALL clubs to buy-in, which they won't, but would be OK as a plan B...

A couple of health professionals I have talked to recently both said at least two years before mask wearing and social distancing will be relaxed.

Our first game (Carabao cup) kicks off in a week's time. It'd be nice if the club announced how we could go about seeing it, or if we'll even be able to.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-live-stream-television-4448057"The league is still negotiating with broadcasters at the moment and I'm hopeful that something from that will be positive. "Whether it will be as good a solution as it was at the end of last season, I don't know at this moment in time.
"Last year we knew there would be nine games behind closed doors that could be offered as a package - at the moment we don't know that. "I expect streaming to come into the mix whatever we do. I expect to be able to put a streaming product on."

I don’t usually post on here but now feel the need to do so. Stop chatting absolute s**t, just spreads fear to people where it’s really not needed. The prime minister has said he was social distancing ended before Christmas, but the best scientists in the country has said its likely we will have to wait until spring 2021 at the earliest. You or your so called health professionals chatting absolute dross is what is making this time harder for a hell of a lot of people, please keep your thick opinions to yourself

Heck ya - I'd do that just to support the club and would roll out of bed early to watch here in the States.

I feel, although it’s only a gut feeling that he’s somewhere close with that prediction if indeed he does mean full stadiums.

This is also from the top man at the world health. news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-we-hope-this-pandemic-will-be-over-in-two-years-who-chief-says-12054000Thing is though I agree with that article, the virus itself won’t go for a few years, however, we will return to normality long before it goes. Have to apologise myself for coming across as rude about the situation, but my point is this virus is currently killing less than 10 people a day, so even if it is here for many years, we will eventually resume normality, in full stadiums, with or without it. Have a read of this link below, sums it up perfectly from one of our top scientists, that although the virus may be around for a while, even with a vaccine, we will be able to get life back to normal long before (sorry I could only find the Hull article, first read it in the national papers though) www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/life-normal-easter-chief-medic-4427512

Great news though I would have thought a fiver was fairer. That’s over 400 pounds a season. It’d be nice if there was an offer to buy in bulk say 50 quid for 10 games. That said if the takings go to the club I’m happy.

While there's no effect on attendance figures this seems the ideal opportunity to test things out and see what kind of revenue clubs could get from streaming all matches. Surely Sky etc. could make a killing if they did it in the right way?

Looking foreward to the finer details.
Will this replace I Follow?
It maybe it is cheaper and more advantageous to buy a season ticket for games we can’t attend than pay per game?
If they include the away matches I would be happy.
