I for one am not worried in the slightest, i think that we all have to take a step back and let the management team do their jobs.
We could be in a far worse situation had we have spunked £4 million on Ameobi.
I think we as fans need to face facts that it IS going to be hard to get players in as there will be competition from other prem teams, and WE will struggle to attract the right players (not due to money but more due to being labelled as relegation fodder by he press).
Tone and Sir Peter knew what they were doing last year when maybe we were too quick to doubt and worry.
So sit back and chill out for a couple of weeks watch the euros, wait for the fixtures to come out in the next few days, and trust our management team.

I'm sorry mate, but last year we tried to buy players and failed. Tony has spoken publicly of his frustration at what happened last summer, so lets not make out it was all some sort of cunning plan.

Seemed to work out ok to me last year. His cunning plan is a simple one really - he'll only buy players that are better than what we've got. If they're better, have the right attitude, we can afford them and they're willing to come then out comes the chequebook. It's easy to spend lots of cash on shit.

Spot on Magic, if the same thing happens this pre season we are in serious shit. We simply must have four or five new players by the start of the season or else we will get buried, this is not alarmist talk they are the facts. We are palying in The best league in the world and by hook or by crook we have to have the players in place a lot quicker than last year.

its gonna be very hard to sign quallity, and most go where the biggest wages are. but as has been said at least hes not gonna waste the money on shit, and who kow some of that cash will still be available in january when players are not gettin into the first teams like they'd hoped or are looking for a fresh challenge after manager changes etc.... at least tony wont take people unless they prove they wanna play and fight for stoke
