Well for all the derogatory remarks made about the Championship when we were relegated into it what a competition it is.
At both ends of the table there are a lot of supporters and clubs biting there nails. And it is all coming down to the last day and games of the season.
For what it is worth I hope, and think they deserve it, that Brentford get promoted one way or another.
There are numerous permutations of what could happen at both ends. I am so glad that we are now out of the mix.
It would seem to me that all the teams in the top eight are in with a shout. And Luton’s win is massive at the other end.
NOTE. I posted this at 90+2, hope I am not being presumptive. 😀⚓️

Championship play offs are the most exciting games of the season

God I was nervous all afternoon today.
To be in the play offs must be a nightmare for supporters.
Clubs elated at making it, clubs dejected for not getting automatic promotion.
Although they lost today I thought Brentford looked good. But in the play offs anything can happen.

I know they’re not a great side but I’d love to see Forest back in the premier league

Championship play offs are the most exciting games of the season Not when the stadium is empty they won't be Nearly said if only the stadiums were rocking😟 Still they will still be exciting/nail biting games. Particularly the 2nd legs of the semis. Love it

Most entertaining league in the world Just a shame the overall quality is shite! I keep hearing this, but which other top footballing nation has a second division as good as ours? Championship teams nowadays regularly go up and compete in the Premier League, and the gap between about 14 Premier league teams and the Championship teams is minimal in my opinion. This begs the question.... Is football in general all the world over of a lower standard than it used to be? Personally I don't think it is and the second division has always been of the kind of standard we see these days, so to suggest that the overall quality is shite, may be true but then again, it's always been shite so it doesnt need pointing out.

It's not necessarily the competitive standard that's shite so much as the aesthetic quality. The whole league is generally about who can kick and rush, run, batter and launch more intensely than anyone else; the attritional factor is probably better than any other second tier, but the fact there are shitter divisions out there doesn't automatically mean our division isn't shit to watch 90% of the time. It's all homogenous blobs of anonymous styles and I'd be surprised if I was alone in finding neutral games more tedious than entertaining.

I know they’re not a great side but I’d love to see Forest back in the premier league Would hate that, Their supporters are the worst in the division. LITP (living in the past). They still believe they are in the European cup, talk about Cloughy all the time and yet he preffered to live in Derby, not Notts.

Supporters of all clubs who aren’t as good as they once were are the same. There are no exceptions. The worse ones are clubs like Newcastle who believe they have the right to be up there despite having little or no success in their history.

In the Premier Lge you can normally predict the top six if not ten. It normally reverts to three mini leagues. Not that long ago we were feeling smug at being ninth and top of “our section”. Meanwhile in the Championship almost anybody can beat anybody. It maybe not not as glamorous as the media hyped elite but forget the highlights and remember the games against the likes of Bournemouth, Watford etc. It’s not that bad.

Which is fair enough, but you can apply that to the majority of Premier League games that don't involve the top 5 or 6 teams. I've just watched Norwich v Burnley and it was a shit game of football, completely devoid of any real quality.

I don't know how a Stoke fan can say the Championship is the most entertaining league in the world after seeing a couple of seasons now of us clearly being a shit team struggling near the bottom coming up against better sides that are going for the play-offs setting up against us at home like Andorra would against England.
And often fucking beating us doing it.
The only good games are when we get an early goal to fuck that gameplan or teams go toe-to-toe with us, which are really few and far between.
I really aren't enjoying it. And I doubt the likes of Birmingham's fans enjoy it when they were pushing for the playoffs and Garry Monk set them up with 10 men behind the ball at home against struggling us. Or the neutrals enjoy it when Bowen sets Reading up like that against us and neither of us manage a shot.
Dog shit, dull league.
