At xmas I was convinced all Hope was gone. To be clear before the end and possibly beating last seasons points tally is unbelievable I hope the family realise just what a fantastic job this guys done Back him like they’ve backed the fast few managers and maybe the Premier League isn’t that far off after all

Done a fantastic job. Not many managers could have kept this bunch up, but he did it, from a position that (I think) only one team in the history of the Championship has recovered from before. Legend. That one team being Bolton who finished their season with 43 points, 10 less than Stoke already have.

Huge congratulations to our manager. An absolutely fantastic job. And well done to the players for pulling through.
Onwards and upwards! Rip roaring mighty beautiful Potters!!

He's done a superb job to keep this bunch of players in this division. He's got a task and a half ahead of him though to now root out all the shit and replace them with his own players.
I think it's a job he can do though and I fully expect us to kick on and be challenging at the other end of the table next season.

To be sat here in a saturday with one game to go knowing we are safe is such a relief. I cannot tell you how nice it feels to be in this position.its the wrong end of the table but we were cut adrift and stinking like a bucket of shit when we sacked the welsh weasel (could describe both Hughes and jones) but the job he has done is nothing short of phenomenal. The calmness he exudes is very welcoming. We have been a club in a manic spiral of decline for far too long. The good days are coming back under uncle michael and again we will learn to love everything about stoke.
Totally against the stoke manner of recent to be enjoying watching all the others scrapping it out and sweating about survival.
It's a great weekend and may I raise a glass to our new messiah of scfc.

As I said earlier, this is an escape worthy of the one King Tone pulled off in his very first part-season with us. That was ultimately the catalyst for a lot of good things that followed later, though we could not have known at the time. Here's hoping this similar critical moment in our history has similar ramifications for the future.

He comes across very calm and professional but behind closed doors I’d say he takes no prisoners. I think he’s the first manager in years that the players respect.
Not sure we’ll be play off candidates next season though and I hope people give him a chance to prove his worth over a couple of seasons.
Genuinely think he’ll be a top class manager

When he got the job I said it would be an absolute miracle to keep us up with the mess Jones had left us in.
And it is.
Fucking magic!

He is a seriously good football manager. Let's all hope we can move on from this near disaster. I'm amazed at what he achieved; calling out the players after a bad game, but seemingly saying and doing the right things to them in private. And it has worked. Astonishing really.

What I will say is he’s galvanised the fan base in the main. Which is a big achievement in itself. Looking forward to next season with him in charge👍🏻

He's a pragmatist not a dogmatist and we've been searching for that for half a decade.

here's how MON has changed our attacking and defensive process compared to GR & NJ. The blue bits are where we've created more & better quality chances than we've allowed (good). Orange is where we've allowed more chances than we've created (bad). MON owns most of the blue. He saved our Championship skin. Attachment Deleted

Let’s be fair here. TP, LMH gave us some brilliant times. But then we had some awful times with them. Lou did a fantastic job for much of his time, so did Waddo. The reality is you can’t defy gravity forever, unless you recruit a Clough, Fergie, or Klopp. MON is our Hero for the outstanding recovery and rescue he has achieved. He can offer us so much more and he has a character that justifyingly strikes a chord with So so many. The futures bright, the future is MON.

as a reality check, here's Leeds over the last two seasons, who we got promoted as Champions, yesterday. What a wonderful achievement and effect we executed yesterday: - Destroyed the shackles of relegation.
- Smashed the unbeaten run of Brentford.
- Donated a 2nd chance to West Brazil.
- Allowed Leeds to get the trophy a day early.
Yesterday was seismic - sort of turned the top of the table upside down. Truly the MON nuclear effect 👌

I think he will be quite a loyal manager unless there are major issues behind the scenes he wants to see this as a successful “project” He’s realistic, top half finish next season is a sensible and achievable target We need to support him and the players when things don’t go to plan We also need him to stay

Yes Klopp has returned Liverpool back to Champions of Europe and England, but you can't put him in the dame class as Clough or Fergie yet. Fergie has done an a lot more in the toughest league in the world, Clough achieved his wins on low budgets. It has taken Klopp >4 years, and spent £400,000 on 34 players, after a man who spent over £300,000.
