Nobody seems to mention Diouf, he should be 100% on the release list.

We need to build the team around Powell and Campbell, both of whom totally frozen out under that idiot Jones, but both of whom are clearly our premier league class players.
I'm worried though that we can't afford to turn down bids for them.
If he makes a shrewd signing in midfield, a destroyer type, or even Corry Evans would add some balance, and if he can.sort out left back and central defence with some pace, and perhaps add pace and aggression in attack with Boyle from Hibs, then we will be up there.
Despite some shit performances he's got us in top eight form, 4-5 new signings he could have us as a top 6 side.
If we can get something for Etebo, Badou, Gregory,Ince, Bruno, Lindsay, woods, butland, hopefully he'll have the money he needs

This mostly. I would also keep Ryan, Jimmy, Davies, Souttar, Sorensen and Verlinden. To me it seems more and more likely Ryan's days as an important player for us are numbered. I'd keep him at the club though, but in another role than as a player. His body doesn't seem able to take the physical strain any longer. I wish I was wrong about it, but it seems more and more likely though. I think that you are right. Still a very good player and character to have around. Has he expressed any interest in another role?

Anyway he has been our captain for so many years now, and I can really see him as our future manager. Didn't he take some badges so he could continue a career in football after retiring as a player?

Can't see much interest for any of the guys we need out of the door.
BMI is probably our best centre-half and has enough pedigree for a move to one of the European leagues. He wants to go and he's not that good to make it worth the hassle of keeping an unhappy player around. Don't think we'll get much for him though.
Can't see anyone paying enough money for N'Diaye or Wimmer. Loans again for those two.
We might get back almost what we paid for Etebo but no-one seems to be beating down the door.
Lindsay we might be able to sell back to Barnsley for a small fee?

I can handle keeping Batth if we get rid of of that moron Chester! We need a fresh new pair of legs for the centre back position.

We would have gotten 20 million for Butland a year ago now we wouldn't get 2.We have very few players who would attract PL interest so it could well be a clearout of the deadwood with very little return but its probably a price worth paying.

It is going to be a difficult window in either division. Maybe easier in League 1 as there is no FFP so we could wipe the slate clean if the owners were willing to inject a large sum of money. If we stay up, what happens depends on how the new rules are applied. A salary cap would not be a problem for us assuming existing contracts are allowed during transition. But if FFP is maintained it will be tricky as we will not be able to offload players for the value they are at in the accounts so we would almost certainly breach the limits and lose points. Our only hope would be to claim a COVID adjustment is needed
