I was really impressed by this player last night! How much would we have to pay for him? Could he be part of an Afobe deal? He seemed to have good pace, looked very good on the ball and was an outlet going forward as well. Think he is still very young which is another pro. The kind of player we really should try to bring in!

Lots of people on here were saying he'd have been the perfect left-back for us last summer when he joined from Chelsea after a loan spell.
Think the fee was about £2m.
We'd never get him now, you'd think.

Why on earth have we been so reluctant to bring in a decent left back with pace after Pieters?

He’s the kind of player we need to be signing.
Young with something to prove. We need about 7 or 8 of them adding to the squad.
Leave the likes of Chris Brunt, go & look for lower league gems or those who aren’t quite making the grade from the premiership & develop them.

What we really should be doing is looking for our own version a young lad initially on loan that we could potentially develop and maybe get in permanently.

Why would they sell him to us they are not short of money are they? I have no idea what their financial situation is, there’s massive changes obviously coming to the game from top to bottom. Stoke one would imagine have the financial clout to ride the waves but not the brains or staff to take advantage of other clubs misfortunes, see the likes of Vokes, Ince, Ward as our masterpieces of getting back into the PL, when embarrassingly we are where we are deservedly. As a financial investor said to me last week “ cash is king” at the moment but isn’t there a saying “that a fool is easily parted with his money “. Not a cat in hells chance we’ll learn anything from this season with our set up, it’s always someone else’s fault...

I love it on here how somebody sees one impressive performance from the opposition and we should “go get him”
We had a bloke who came on as a second half SUB for Birmingham City ( yes Birmingham City ) and we should “ go get him”
It’s laughable

I've havent seen too much of him to be honest but I thought the general consensus on his thread a few weeks back by those that have was he isn't very good.

DaSilva was good for Bristol City last season and not a risky buy at all. He's only going to get better and that won't be at Stoke. Did they buy Kalas by the way or is he still on loan from Chelsea? The chap who scored against us is on loan from Leicester and I'm sure he was linked with us last season. The loan market is one we really should use sensibly next season.

Unfortunately getting young players on loan can be hit or miss. Corrigan unfortunately falls into the miss bracket...

Dasilva, Henry at Brentford, Robinson at Wigan, the style of full back that if we'd signed probably would have seen Nathan Jones keep his job. Absolute negligence that we ended up with Steven Ward.......

Dasilva must be about 5' 3"!!! Where did Robinson come from and would he be available if there's a fire sale at Wigan?

Just seen that Robinson is wanted by West Ham and nearly joined Inter but for a hear condition. Won't be coming to Stoke anytime soon. James Justin has been playing right back for Leicester with Perreira out, as he is a right back who can play left back. Can we just have a left back who is left footed please?

Stoke fans talk as if every player in the Championship or below would jump at the chance of joining us. We are not even able to offer big wages anymore.

He did a fancy flick, not sure what else he did. We are wank down our right most games so it's probably best to see how he performs against better players.

Not really. Da Silva was really highly rated at Chelsea, had got a League One loan under his belt already, was then loaned to Brizzle and is an England U21. Ryan Corrigan wasn't really rated at Man City, had no league experience, no idea if he's international experience.

I'm a much bigger fan of QPR's Ryan Manning, a LB who gets up and down the wing, puts in many shots and has good playmaking abilities with his crossing. £3M could probably get him... maybe a player + cash swap with Ince could tempt them.
