Charlton have had 1 shot on target when they scored, Brum have had 16 shots Story of their season. Their early season form was entirely based on results like this. Completely unsustainable but might have got enough in the end.

Brum have got Preston away and Derby at home after this.
They could easily not got another point.

So correct me if I’m wrong but Barnsley have to win all three? And Luton two and Hull two? Baring a massive goal swing, Barnsley can’t touch us unless they win 3 games against Forest, Leeds and Brentford. Luton and Hull play each other so one of those cannot touch us. If they draw, we are safe if Barnsley fail to win tomorrow. The winner of Luton/Hull will have to win both games as you say, and if they do we can only go down if one of the teams between us and then got 2-3 points assuming we lose both remaining games.

Basing this on Charlton winning this, and us not getting another point this season, and ignoring any points deductions for now...
By my reckoning we'd need five of the following six things to happen to send us down:
- Boro to get at least one draw from remaining two games
- Charlton to get at least one draw from remaining two games
- Brum to get at least two draws from remaining two games
- Udds to win one of their last two games
- One of Ull or Luton to win the game between them, AND for that same team to win their other game
- Barnsley to win all three of their remaining games

Correct that only One of Luton OR Hull could finish above us but that still leaves one place up for grabs (assuming Barnsley don’t win all three of theirs. Everyone else including Wigan could still finish above us. Unlikely but possible.

Brum have got Preston away and Derby at home after this. They could easily not got another point. Huddersfield play WBA and Millwall, I’d say same goes for them. Too many teams below us in terrible form, even if Luton do win both remaining games and get above us, there will still be at least 3 teams below us, I’m sure of that.

And we don't want to be going into next Wednesday in that situation, balls to that......

I think it'll just be in what order 17 - 21 finish.I would think Huddersfield potentially are the most at risk with just 3pts between them and the bottom 3,but look at the gd difference, probably 1 pt would do for them.

Not if there's a winner in the Hull Luton game. They'll be on 48 points.
I'm assuming no Wigan points deduction.
What's the likelihood of them winning their appeal?

If Forest take a point at Barnsley they are guaranteed play offs when we play them barring a Millwall goal fest

I think Wigan will get out of it regardless It’s not a FFP penalty though, it’s for entering administration. The only way they avoid it is if the authorities buy their excuse that Covid has been the force majeur behind it. Something that really doesn’t stack up given the timings of certain events. I can’t see if being successful.

Either way they’ll get docked if the get relegated but I think they won’t get docked until next season as they’re on an unbelievable run
