No, already got mine but then when I chose to follow Stoke I said I wouldn't jump ship when the tough gets going. On reflection I didn't say it, it just became my life and here I am 40 odd years later, and what's more even with the ups and downs I still wouldn't have it any other way! The wife might though.

MON will change this squad considerably whether we stay up or not.
Even if he has to play all the young lads I don’t give a shit as long as he gives us a team to be proud of who work hard for each other. We’ve sunk that low we need to start from there and work out way up.
Let’s remember Sheff Utd we’re bottom of League 1 only four years ago until Wilder got to grips with his team......

Then it will be David Kevin or someone......

Haven't got mine yet, but then i dont think I'll be struggling to get a seat if I paid on the gate. The club will have to give tickets away with green shield stamps at this rate.

Got my 150 refund yesterday so that’s it now. This Covid break has made me realise that there are other things to do of a Saturday and I’ve quite got used to not being compelled or now financially invested. I’ll remain a supporter of course but I now realise that first season in the Premier and going to every away match with my lad on Joedogs bus was the very best of times never to be repeated ......

I can't in all good conscience give up my ST (besides, I've already paid for my renewal), but I wouldn't particularly blame anyone for deciding against it. It's just not an enjoyable or pleasant experience.
Saturdays are awful without the "package" though (pub / match / pub). Even if the football remains shockingly bad, I'd still go for the socialising and boozing aspect.

Think it will be about away tickets. Do I need to spend 300 quid to get a ticket at Blackpool???probably not.. Do I need to prebook a home match?? Definately not!!!!!

Even if the football remains shockingly bad, I'd still go for the socialising and boozing aspect. This is what my pals keep saying but I'm not buying it. You're right in what you say in that following a football club is much more than what happens on the field and the social element is what keeps many returning. I've seen Stoke at a lower ebb than this and have spent an inordinate amount of time and money schlepping round the country to some godforsaken places following this club, mainly for the craic as the football during those times was by and large utter fucking garbage. The thing is though, the last time I did that I was in my late teens/early 20s and was much more durable when it came to drinking my own bodyweight in ale and getting into all manner of drink and 'other'-fuelled comedy situations. Now I'm pushing 40,I have to ask myself (a) can I afford to dedicate so much time and money to something I only ostensibly enjoy? and (b) if it's just about the social aspect, can't I just do the pub/socialising bit without shelling out loads of dollar/time on the dogshit football? The answers are 'no' and 'yes' respectively, so binning off my S/T is what I'm gonna do. *plus, I've got bang into golf recently so Stoke can suck my fucking balls. I'M A REAL GROWN-UP NOW MR COATES SO YOU AND YOUR 'PRODUCT' HAVE ME IN YOUR CLUTCHES NO LONGER...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I’d buy one if we got relegated to div 3 (I like The people who I sit with) but only on the condition that we fucked off 75% of this current squad. I honestly can’t be watchIng them anymore knowing they’re being paid ridiculous wages for being so horrendously bastard awful fucking shit!!

Imagine staying up with this squad, not being able to shift any/many of them, adding in 3x more 'Managers Specials', I'd rather eat my own shit.

I hadn’t renewed for next season as I’m always a last minute payer even thought I’ve had my S/T for over 20 years. I’ll be Genuinely honest I am 50/50 what do. I love the day out away from the kids as it gives me chance blow off some steam. Also another huge part is meeting up with my mate for a few pints and a good laugh. If he came now and said no I’m not bothering then I’d perhaps join him and say thanks for the memory’s stoke. As others above have said, I’m now in my 40s and I do want to see some value for my money, not watch an absolute pile of shit

I hope he does stay and the way he has spoken throughout (including the post match interview this evening) it has never been a case of thinking this useless bunch of tossers are up to much- how a team on paper which is full of ex-internationals and established top-end championship players gets outfought, outplayed, bullied and as he put was second best in every department is scandalous and something that all of the past 4 managers are responsible for. A team devoid of spirit and character like Frankenstein's monster. I think he is in for the long-run and possibly knew that it would go one of two ways- stay up by the seat of our pants and then start the rebuild or go down and probably accelerate the rebuild as some of these tossers are forced to take pay-cuts/fobbed off to some short-sighted championship side who will look to resurrect (they will need defibrillators) their careers based on them being a name once upon a time. I.e. I think he wants rid of a large proportion of them and as long as he gets the support from the board/management then I would give him the time- we are rotten to the core at the moment.

I renewed mine in March like many others I suspect. Will I use it - I honestly don’t know. Some 52 years of supporting Stoke and at least 40 years of having a season ticket sort of numbs the brain. When we are relegated if I thought we were going to have a season like we had under Lou Macari when we ran away with the title I would use it but I’m not even certain that’s possible at the moment which means do I want to watch more of the humdrum crap that League 1 football entails. Sitting here at the moment the answer I’d no I don’t think so. Sad init. What would my long suffering fellow Stokies advise🤔

Thanks for the advice although a bit of psychedelic soul won’t go amiss.
