Excellent yesterday, another assist and generally been our best player since return from lockdown.
Noticed he'd some heavy strapping on his thigh yesterday. Wonder if that explains his non-starts and appearances from bench post lockdown?
Another who has impressed generally since O'Neil came in

He was brilliant.
And yeah, in all of our good performances this season he's always one that has stood out.
Tom Edwards who?

Had a really good game yesterday. He is starting to look like the player I thought we'd bought, after a poor start to life here.
I really hope he is OK for the rest of the season.

Good solid performance yesterday - which probably makes it out best display at fullback since the restart, and BMI was also solid(ish)

He's like a lot of our players in that when he has an off day he's shocking.
However overall he does pretty well.

We'll see what sort of player he is Thursday! [br He’s no TAA but he played well yesterday and deserves praise for it. Like you alluded to Leeds are a different proposition but let’s see what he’s capable of. He might surprise you. Hopefully🤞🏻

He's been ok but dropped twice since the restart!
Hardly worthy of special mention.

He's been ok but dropped twice since the restart! Hardly worthy of special mention. There could be any number of reasons for not playing. He’s a natural right back and should be playing. Round pegs in round holes n all that.

The other one who doesn’t seem to be getting a mench is Cousins, who I thought had a good game keeping the midfield tight and snapping into some good tackles.

Well he's the best right back we have so he has to play.

He's been ok but dropped twice since the restart! Hardly worthy of special mention. Why not? No-one in the team has more assists than him now yet you still refuse to move from your original (incorrect) impression of him while sticking up for the local lad who somehow escapes your wrath despite being an unprofessional prick. Shouldn't be surprised really.

Thats the point, as I said despite being a defender he is the TOP assister at the club in a side with the likes of Powell, McClean etc. I personally feel that is worthy of recognition/praise, do you not?

Imagine if we had something similar on that left hand side.
The balance in the team that we crave.

Are you netting off the goals he's cost us? We seem to be much weaker in terms of conceding goals from attacks down our left hand side, Sheikh. And I'd say that was largely true for the period since Christmas not just since lock down.

Are you netting off the goals he's cost us? Not at all, I'm valuing his contributions. At least with Smith there is credit in the bank for any errors, you can't really say the same for Edwards can you? Go on sheikh, give the man some deserved praise, I promise you'll feel warm and fuzzy afterwards and Tom won't think any the less of you

Pretty much since the turn of Christmas Smith has been a solid player. The play for Ince's goal has been something he does a lot. He's good at getting the ball forward.
Scored an own goal vs Charlton because he was weak as pish at the back post. But apart from that...
I spotted Tom Edwards at the end of the extended highlights video walking down from the top of the stand with Liam Lindsay. What on earth has happened to them both?

I had a look at the WhoScored stats after the game to double check the possession numbers and was slightly surprised to see that TS was our top rated player for the game. Got overshadowed by goalscorers but was super solid and behind a lot of the good work that we did!
