Arguably our 2 players of this wretched season.
Both are crap.

I disagree, two of very few players we have that have anything going for them.

Is the missing word, 'Best', or, 'Worst' ..?

Clucas has gone absolutely AWOL. Has somebody told him social distancing doesn’t apply on the pitch🤷🏻♂️

Clucas is ending the season how he started it, absolutely clueless, does ok when things are going well, absolutely gutless when things don’t , he’s the first one that goes hiding
Player of the season ? He would be one of the first Out the door for me , huge part of the problem !

Clucas goes completely AWOL for whole games....too often
Where was he exactly v Middlesbrough?
If he is Player of the Season then we fully deserve to go down.

Clucas is one of our more talented players but hides. I’ve lost count of the number of games I’ve forgotten he was on the pitch.
McClean never hides but is just absolutely woeful, doesn’t really possess any kind of footballing ability.
Agreed that they’ve probably been our two best players this season, which just about sums things up for us.
If they’ve got any sense they’ll do away with the end of season awards.

Clucas,Thompson and Sorensen were our starting midfield yesterday and were all rubbish.Add to the fact that Cousins and Ince were brought on to offer us I dont know what and the centre half pairing were/are abysmal,is it any wonder we are in a relegation battle?.After Reading and yesterday's performance I am not convinced we are going to beat the drop. Oh,and Maclean has never been a wing back/ full back so why different managers play him there amazes me. (Liking my own post was a slip of the finger.....honest)

Clucas is I feel the one that’s missing Allen the most Spot on, and for me he's a player who is missing the fans being stuck up his arsehole for 90 minutes also. He might cup his ears but that also tells me a lot in combination with the performances we're now seeing. It tells me he might not like the stick he gets but it certainly drives him on.

As poor as they apparently were ( I never saw it )we’d of been totally fucked without them and Joe Allen this season

Right now we have 4 players who possess the skill or will power to create something.. be it a through ball, a cross or a pass that ends in a chance... Clucas, Powell, McClean and it pains me to say Ince. Its been obvious for some time that Ince has zero confidence right now... he ignored multiple opportunities to shoot yesterday and when he finally did, I think his shot came closer to the corner flag than the net. McClean will continue to put his head down and run at defenses, then its pot luck from then on in. As for Clucas and Powell, right now we're getting literally nothing out of them... Unless MoN can start to consistently get something out of at least 2 of these 4, I don't see us going anywhere but down.

Clucas is a massive part of the problem.
He offers very little defensively, has no creativity & the game just passes him by. I only ever notice him when he sloppily gives the ball away.
However, he’s one of 2 players in our squad (Clucas & Campbell) who I feel confident would score if a decent chance was presented to them.
He’s a bizarre footballer.

I understand this....but is it too much to ask a player to lift themselves for 90 minutes just one time in a week especially in a relegation battle??? I agree he's missing Allen but come on man here's your big chance to step up.

Ince was the most creative by a mile (and I'm certainly not saying he was good)

I'm not sure what it is but Clucas looks completely shattered before half time and yet doesn't seem to have done anything of note. McLean on the right was a very strange one yesterday and he did nothing til he reverted to the left. Although he was better then going forward his passing in defensive positions was woeful. Perhaps they are struggling because for all his faults Joe would always make himself available for an easy pass or make a run to take players away. Now we are left with a bunch of static midfielders who just seem to hold their position and have the 'it' s not my problem' attitude.

Without Clucas we would already be down. True - 16 of our 50 goals between them.
