I am a complete dinosaur when it comes to stream and download, but I was quite surprised how straightforward the whole process was. Credit where its due. Well done Stoke Radio Stoke commentary rather than some half informed drivel provided by a national broadcaster was good too. BM I see the sentinel have been copying these comments.

Seems plenty of other clubs had problems with Huddersfield blaming the EFL for the problems their supporters endured in missing the 1st half completely.
Seems like that was a blessing in truth but hey...

Advice much appreciated An 820M is more than capable of running HD content. Should even be able to decode 4K on it. That's reassuring! Change your power settings. You can disable screen off when lid closes. Will do. Also set it to High Performance when plugged in and Balanced on battery. You don't know if I'm watching on battery of powered! Presume you are advising me to use High Performance for watching? Size of the external TV doesn't matter. If you run something in 720p on a 42" TV, it's still only 720p, the size of the tele or whatever makes no difference (but a big tele on 720p will look naff). I *think* it's a 40" Do you think a shorter cable would help???

Watched on TV via HDMI, no probs, or so I thought, until just before we scored. Had 2 texts both saying "Get in"...seems I was about 40 seconds behind others The Radio Stoke commentary was 40 odd seconds ahead of the stream.... not sure whether that means the stream was on a 40 second delay or whether they employ psychics at Radio Stoke

I entered the login process with massive trepidation. It was a breeze. I logged on to the match stream with massive trepidation. Again it was as smooth as silk Well done to all concerned.

No problem with the stream. I thought the Radio Stoke commentary a bit grating but, in fairness, they are commentating for radio and we can see what's happening so don't need to be told.

I tend to always use High Performance on anything media related, either videos or gaming because I don't want the screen to disable or for the cpu/gpu to run at reduced clock speeds. Cable won't matter. There are HD standards in cable, for 720p/1080p any HDMI cable, short or long will work a treat. It's when you want to watch 4K video @ 60hz where you have to make sure you get specific cables

Full HD for me too with IPhone to Tv. Was surprised how well it worked out How did you get it from iPhone to TV if you don't mind me asking? You'll need a Lightning Digital AV Adapter. Apple do their own 'official' one, which I'd trust for obvious reasons, around £50. You could take a chance on a £10 'compatible' product but in my experience, you often get what you pay for with stuff like that.
