Have noticed that without any fans in the grounds, that players dont seem to be milking the moment when a heavy challenge goes in and start rolling around like they've been hit by a truck. Zaha for palace is an example of someone who has got up after a challenge rather than wasting 5 minutes pretending to be hurt. Wonder of this attitide will remain when fans return. Probably not.

Bournemouth never change though. Just seen Lerma rolling around after having his ankles kissed.

It'll be interesting to see if the Premier League, or anybody else like Opta, are looking into how referees are performing with no crowds and the lack of intimidation from home fans.

Yes, it's analogous to the Jeremy Kyle show with no studio audience.

I think it proves how influential a crowd can be on a ref and his decisions. No crowd no point in milking it!

He was correctly booked for the kind of challenge he constantly complains about and was moaning to the ref. Was one today where a player backed into a challenge, rolled around then was straight on his feet when the yellow card came out. Was either a West Ham or Bournemouth player, can't remember.

That’s been very evident from the bundesliga also That and no surrounding the ref is another There has been a clear instruction not to crowd the Ref, because he may get Covid-19 from the players.

One of the BHA players went down like he had been poleaxed when an Arsenal player tapped him on the stomach. I think it might have been the same guy who scored the winner. If so, he should not have been on the pitch. The guy should have been sent off for feigning injury but I appreciate I am in the minority on this subject.

Talking about players being slimy bastards and milking every decision... I wonder if there is any correlation in Bournemouth being abjectly shite and the introduction of VAR?
