Atmosphere, one of the greatest songs if all time, currently being played on radio 2 by wazzock Jeremy Vine
If he talks over it lockdown or no lockdown I'm off to broadcasting house to burn him at the stake

'Disorder' always gives me chills and is my favourite song. RIP Ian. I saw New Order play this at that intimate ∑(No,12k,Lg,17Mif) thing they did at Old Granada Studios in 2017. First time it'd been played live since 1980 and utterly mesmeric (even with Bernard's famously shonky vocals).

Played 'Unknown Pleasures' loudly at the weekend. In my top 5 albums ever.
I missed JD live due to work as i had to travel the night they were on, my mates said a brilliant gig. I did see New Order at the Ritz in manchester about 1982 they did the 30 minute set and walked off.

..... saw JD live at ULU 1978/79 (memory plays tricks at my age.) Brilliant .... wrong, it was 08/02/1980. Looks like they only played another half dozen gigs after that. Also listening to the live versions attached to Closer when I downloaded it from Spotify and guess what - recorded at ULU (looks like the only time they played there.) So you can hear me in the background

Hooky playing pretty much everything Joy Division recorded, in one gig.
