I think we'll see a completely different landscape when football starts back up properly, and inflated transfer fees might be a thing of the past. Certainly if you're not of the big boys. Whatever the fees O'Neill will look to offload the following I reckon: Adam Davies Adam Federici (out of contract) Bruno Martins Indi Steven Ward (out of contract) Josh Tyman (season loan) Mame Diouf (out of contract) Lee Gregory Jordan Cousins Badou Ndiaye Peter Etebo Joe Allen (if the price is right) Jack Butland (if the price is right) Ryan Woods Benek Afobe Kevin Wimmer Moritz Bauer Realistically Wimmer, Bauer, Etebo and Ndiaye will be loaned out again I think...... I think he might stick Cousins, get the impression he thinks he’s useful, tends to bring him on when trying to close a game down. To be honest, he isn’t great, but I think he’s ok, which is about where we’re at now trying to turn things around.

Cousins will be a vital member of the squad in the new look, no doubt financially prudent league going forward. He is cheap, cheerful and seems a decent enough pro who won't rock the boat. He can step in and do a job more than many give him credit for. He'll be worth his weight in gold for the next few years IMO.

I feel that Gregory and Allen will be the only ones that we will shift. Joe for under 10 and Gregory for under 1m, the rest will have to be loaned out again. I just feel that if we struggled to sell a player before the virus I'm not sure what will change after it. Gregory being the only exception because I feel he was free we'd be willing to let him go for a low figure - see PGS superstar Choupo-Moting. Id be amazed if Joe Allen moves anywhere judging by O’Neill’s comments about him and his injury also That was a very diplomatic reply

I'm not sure if he's instilled some discipline in Joe's play or whether the tactics and team selection suit his style more but whatever it is it's working and I, for one, don't want Joe Allen shipped out.

I’m kind of hoping Benik Afobe stays. His confidence will be the key but with our fans behind him we could really lift the lad

Nor do I and never have any such thoughts.

I wish we were buying Etebo rather than selling him. Why? He has made it clear he doesn't want to play for Stoke.

I've never seen him give less than required, he was often the only Stoke player on the pitch who looked like he cared about his performance as much as his pay packet (along with MacLean) and his non appearances are not due to being dropped but more to do with moving him on for FFP reasons. Club haven't treated him fairly.

I think he is being forced out as he's one of the assets we can sell on, but IF it benefits his career he won't resist.

O'Neill eluded to the fact he didn't want to be at Stoke along with Badou. Both were subsequently dropped as they were going to leave in January.Absolute right decision for Stoke and the two players.Neither were treated unfairly.
