In the defence of Palacios, he was never the same after his brother was murdered.

Agree there but he did give me one of the best away days when he scored the winner at Boro. He was wank though

Dave Kitson. Woke up with 12 fucks and went to bed with a dozen. That's how many he gave!

H And seemed to think his ‘lack of giving a fuck’ was some kind of badge of honour and made him some kind of cool renegade/revolutionary. A footballer with a brain, a deep thinker, a lone wolf. No Dave. You just came across as a first class arsehole.

You'd be hard pushed to look past Arnautovic after he put his transfer request in. The twat basically went on strike.

Neville Southall. Anyone who can’t look after themselves when they are paid sportsman paid to keep themselves in tip top shape should be in the list and Southall was too busy tucking into pork pies

Michael Owen sitting on the bench.
Kitson is a good call. What a wingeing bugger he was.
Shaqiri and his oversized hamstrings for most days. Turned up for the big games on TV

Despite his undoubted talent, Arnie was never a team player. I watched numerous games where his body language in the first few minutes told you that he might as well be subbed immediately.

Kenwynne. I forget what match or season but there was an occasion when we had a promising move down the wing and Jones was strolling (very) slowly from the center circle whilst tying his hair back.
Being fairly bone idle myself I did have some sympathy but, fucking hell.....he was on another level.

Bony wins hands down for me. Was less than excited when we loaned him and after seeing his lack of effort the first few games it was infuriating that we were paying the lazy fecker

Sammy Bangora I think that's how you spell is name what I remember I think he went to the African Nations and never came back. Shaq and Arnie did not give a shit a lot of times but the problem for Hughes was they could win you a game in a second.

Arnie was superb, if arrogant. Like many near-elite footballers, his ambition matched his technical ability. It was/is somewhat understandably selfish but that desire to progress has to be tempered as they're supposed to be team players. There was that period where Stoke were on the up and you could see that Arnie cared, because Stoke were becoming the vehicle to pursue his singular ambitions but when things weren't going well, christ, his body language and facial expressions were those of a player who thought he was too good to be in the same side as the other ten.
Overall I'd call him impatient for success rather than not giving a shit.

Anyone that says Arnie didn’t care just doesn’t get it imo.
