Can't usually be doing with dancehall/reggaeton but there's something about this one I was quite surprised at that a lot better than I thought it would be

I’ll listen to anything and my iPod is full of very random shit... my only relevance to this thread is my brother, he s a big metal/death metal/rock fan. Proper hardcore painfull crap, his first album and he still has it on tape was Buck’s Fizz.
I do like a bit of land of make believe myself

Trains by Poppy Ackroyd. She is a Classical Crossover musician.
I can thank MrDean1863 on Twitter for that one. He made a tweet about her music, I gave it a listen and was mightily impressed with her. I don’t like classical or any variation but her style of it and her interpretation really interested me.
If you’re reading this MrDean, thank you sir!

Not a genre but a band.
I can't listen to Status Quo's usual tune, I think it's terrible, but the track they did where they varied it a bit, In the Army Now, I don't have to immediately switch the radio over or off.

Justified and Ancient, The KLF. It's got that rap bit in it, a genre that really don't like one iota but in this it fits ok. Tammy Wynette does a good job in it as well. 'Drives an ice cream van' excellent line.

What have I done to deserve this - Pet Shop Boys with Dusty Springfield
I can't stand Pet Shop Boys normally but I quite like this - maybe it's Dusty making the PSB almost bearable.

Never been keen on C&W but Jolene by Dolly Parton is a guilty pleasure. As is Wichita Lineman by Glen Campbell.

Never liked all that synth pop stuff but liked this. A bit synth meets psychedelia

A bizarre thing, but one of the songs that I seemed to listen to in what seemed like perpetuity when I lost the old man.
Such a gentle and warm song it gave me so much succour, like getting a hug from DP herself.
She's a consummate professional,and eminently humble.Love a bit of Dolly.😉
