Hated then. Hated now. Hated in the future. Verminous club. You shouldn’t sit on the fence 😎 I wont mate. My feelings are abundantly clear on the subject 😉🤣

Carl Beeston was such a good player on his day..... I was sat in a doctors surgery in Trentham with him a few months ago! Was he injured again?

I remember a few things from this day:
It pissed down, Clifford Carr, a few carrots being thrown at Tony Adams from the Boothern, and the chant of. “Where’s your money gone” after the pickpocketing announcement.

Always love the Cliffard Carr (As Jimmy Hill called him) pull down on Perry Groves! How he never got a yellow nevermind a red was baffling watching it back now after all this time as it was live on the day! Remember a tannoy announcement during the game warning Arsenal fans that there were pickpockets working in the away end & to keep their valuables safe! Funny things you remember!! Yeah, Jimmy Hill went to town on Carr on MOTD that night. It was quite funny actually!

Were were winning at Highbury and real dubious pen, Berkamp went over Devlin's foot just before HT. Wright ran to our fans giving it large. Shame as we were so comfortable and was dead on HT

Neil Midgely the Ref played a blinder for us at that time tho.

My only other memory of Cliff Carr was him diving full length to palm the ball round the post at Elland Road. The most Blatent handball you'd ever see and the ref missed it! Didn't affect owt though as we got hammered 4-0
