When will we next be able to stroll down to the BET 365 for home game?
I'm going for January 2021.

I make it about 34 and a half days now, without us seeing a goal being scored.
...Although it's worth pointing out that between March and April last year, we went the same length of time without seeing a goal anyway! (Four successive goalless draws!)
I'll bet we're the only club in the Football league who served up the same amount of goals and entertainment, with and without the coronavirus ban.

I'll take an uneducated guess... we'll finish the rest of the season during the close season and use thos games as a pre-season warm-up.

19/20 ..completed behind closed doors mid June> July ( with the aid of the machines that give positive results in 90 minutes , allowing for almost real time testing of players , officials
Two scenarios if the next season to be behind closed doors or not , behind closed doors , restart September , possibly with no league cup
If Attended games 20/21 won't take place ..attended games resumed hopefully August 21 for a 21/22 season

It changes rapidly
I think life will return to virtual normality in around October/November in regards big gatherings ....that’s still 6/7 months away
Pubs and shops will be around July

Depends on the definition of the term 'all clear'. I would like to understand any residual risks as I am approaching the vulnerable age group. The thought of attending the match or any other social gathering absolutely terrifies me. I think the Government will start to gradually lift lockdown status so it may very well be left to individuals to make their own decisions on how to shop and whether or not to go to a restaurant or pub. I'll wait until 'all clear' really means ,all clear', And I love going to the local pub. Hope your recovery is going OK by the way.

I've spoke to Mr Coates on a walk on the Salt Line this morning. Told him how much were missing the Bet365.

Ta mate it is 👍 I think we’ve all got to guided and put our trust in the health experts and authorities and if they say it’s safe it’s safe It’s changed dramatically in just 6 weeks so another 6 months is time for things to settle and normality to return Big gatherings will be around then but pubs etc will be well before I reckon

I will still treat everything with a degree of caution. .

Cannot see us being allowed to attend games until there is a vaccine so some time in 2021
This season will finish behind closed doors and next years will probably start the same
Some lockdown will be lifted in may/june. They will not wait until autumn as the hospitals will be full over winter anyway with flu etc so they will want it to spread more before then and a stricter lock down again then

Well I'm not going until there is a vaccine. That might not be until July 2021. By that time there will be a procedure in place for generating vaccine-grade virus (as there is for influenza). But by this August there will be new coronaviruses and any vaccine made for this season´s virus (SARS-CoV-2) will be obsolete, or at least not completely effective. Once the new variants have been isolated and sequenced, they can be used in the new vaccine procedure - so an effective vaccine should be with us between November 2020 and January 2021. The whole game is identical to how new influenza vaccines are made each year - the difference with coronavirus is that no procedure exists currently for making the vaccine, but there are tons of companies on it. Edit: in case there any regulatory experts here, I am not saying that the vaccine described will be ready for roll out to the general public - it has to go through clinical trials which will take anywhere from 1-4 years. So a coronavirus specific vaccine won´t be available before 2022, and more likely not before 2023.

I'm going for this season to be voided and next season to start mid/end october this year (if we're lucky). I'm not so sure on this but however this season ends up panning out I cant see the 2020-21 season starting in October coz that'll mean the season wont finish until July 2021, & that's meant to be when the pre-arranged Euro 20's will be taking place. Someone somewhere is going to have to make a decisive decision on the future of this season & the format of next season coz somethings gotta give and either way they'll be winners and losers & likely complaints galore. Interesting times ahead.
