Possibly the most ignorant pundit on TV. Sheff Wed did a damage limitation job that most Premier league sides have failed to do. Thick and narrow minded and why he's co-commentating and not managing.

Can't bear him. Think's his softly spoken voice makes him sound thoughtful and intelligent when he is clearly far from it.

Let's not forget this classic .....
On Saturday's Match of the Day, the former Arsenal man was eager to heap praise on Leicester City's N'Golo Kante. The French midfielder is one of this season's star performers with his ceaseless running and tactical awareness.
However, the term the pundit actually used in admiration of the player's stamina was a little...inappropriate. "It's almost like he's got an iron lung," the pundit enthused.

Spoke to him before the Crawley FA Cup game several years ago, where he was the “pundit” . I can confirm what others have said. I have no doubt that in his softly spoken voice, in order to try and give the ( false) impression of intelligence and sincerity, he would refer to himself as a “ male chicken “, when in reality, he will always be a “cock”

He is fucking wank, a bit of a weirdo, reads a game like Stevie Wonder reads tea leaves, yet is virtually permanently employed by BT and the BBC.
It says more about producers and management than him though.

It's certainly one in the eye for the "you must have played the game to have a proper opinion on the game" brigade that reside on here.
Thick as a whale omelette.

should stick to homes under the hammer "And here are the stairs that lead to the bedrooms" Fuck me Dion, I'm glad you've told me that, I've always wondered what those stair things were for. Dion is an ex footballer. In his house/ mansion there are probably stairs to the snooker room, stairs to the observatory and stairs to the first floor home cinema. It's a different world.

Remember when he was punditing (is that a word?) on a Stoke v Arsenal match and he kept insisting that an Arsenal goal which was disallowed for offside should've been allowed even though the replays and stills proved the Linesman had made the right call (it was a very close call, but he got it right). His argument was that as it was so close, the linesman couldn't have been sure so should've just allowed it.
