I am not a young computer savvy poster, but more like a technophobe, so it may just be me. If a thread has a padlock next to it saying thread locked, what does this mean, apart from the obvious that you can't add to it or post on this subject. Are people just no longer interested in the thread topic and feel that all that can be said has been said? Is it a legal position as the thread is controversial? Or is it because the thread has been ended and incorporated into another heading?
If I have encountered this as an issue, can I do anything about it?
I legitimately wanted to comment on Scott Hogan's 4 goals in 5 games for Birmingham since joining them on loan, so I found a recent thread about the player as I thought that using that might be more acceptable than opening another new thread. However although the thread on Hogan joining B'ham on loan could be retrieved and read, I could not post on it as there was no "Reply" facility.
Am I doing something wrong.
