Of course, most modern music is utter gash. But there are still some fantastic “bands” and artist’s knocking about, relatively under the radar.

Glad somebody has a handle on it zerps... good to hear there is still some intelligent independent music being made.
The stuff i hear on the radio is desperately poor. Earnest young people trolling out edgeless dull depressing dirges... Do the youth of today really sit in their rooms listening to Lewis Capaldi? No wonder they appear to be a bunch of lifeless snowflakes. The previous generation of decent bands such as the killers and phonics have lost their edge with success, and the mainstream music scene is a wasteland.

It’s changed completely since streaming took over. Forget about top of the pops and the hit parade but there’s still plenty of decent stuff knocking about. Bbc radio 6 music is a fantastic station imho.
