Good questions, Angela. Consistency? We’ve been consistently bad at the back for three games in a row. Hopefully, that’s sorted.

Consistency = playing an unfit CB and breaking up a winning team ?

Consistency = playing an unfit CB and breaking up a winning team ? He didn't break up a winning team. He broke up one that had got murdered at Derby.

He dropped Lindsay after we conceded 4 goals, following a period of stability and a few clean sheets. Let's see if he does the same to his own signing after conceding the same amount at QPR, following a period of defensive instability and a few mistakes from his man.

He’s great at press conferences, so different from Nathan Jones.

He’s great at press conferences, so different from Nathan Jones. He is but he’s showing the same signs of the strain of players not performing as expected.

It did. We beat charlton. We won the game we simply had to win And after that ? We played well for an hour v preston before conceding off 2 set pieces and were shite at QPR. We are at bottom of league. What do you expect? Wins every game?

Smith was shocking for the first two goals abandoned his patch to come across for no reason leaving huge gaps which resulted in the goals

We played well v PNE You don't have a point We haven't had a point from the last six available with Chester at CB Touche However as you clearly only watched the QPR shambles and not the preceding two games - out of interest where did you go, somewhere without internet access presumably? - just to let you know Chester was excellent v Charlton and decent v PNE. The notion that he should be dropped but Batth should retain his place is mind boggling

My tin hat is now firmly in position and ready to take flack.
Can anyone seriously argue with Mon’s comments? They, are under all circumstances (player availability etc) pragmatic and understandable.
He is his own man, very much in the mould of a successful previous manager.
Until proven wrong he’s got my full support.

I agree with your post, but recent results and more importantly performances are worrying. I believe if you keep playing well the results will follow, but the fact is we seem to be slipping back into the performances under Rowett's first 10 matches, i.e. playing well for periods but then lapses in concentration and giving silly goals away and handing the initiative to the opposition. We have to get back to clean sheets pdq even if that means some 0-0 results, otherwise we will be soon back in the bottom 3 and fighting those "gravity crocodiles". As with Lambert, Rowett, and Jones the main issue is the players are not delivering to their full potential and are not playing "for one another". He said he is not for wholesale changes in the team and is looking to establish stability. He needs to be careful he does not place too much faith in the same players and be prepared to be ruthless. Lambert stuck with the same core of players and did not try different things, certainly not any young players, and in the end we slid away to relegation.

I think on another day we'd have beaten Preston so not too concerned there. Last week was awful and need to put it right tomorrow. No need to hit the panic button just yet. I agree with what you say but these players have pulled out some good results also of late, we often see ourselves as good as our last game. We got battered down our left last week and losing McClean a big problem as we need that work rate back in the team.
