I’m suddenly very worried again.
14 games left.
Only 6 at home.
8 away.
Do we have enough to get the points we need to survive?
I do hope so.

I think we do. Put it this way, I’m less concerned now than I was when Jones was in charge. We’ve just got to see this season through and stay up, then the good times are ahead of us.

We’ll be ok, but the sooner we win a couple on the bounce to give us breathing space the better.....

We've got a good Plan A and its doing us well.
We were the better team first half but lacked that killer touch. We looked solid whilst offering an attacking threat.
However, when we lost McClean we lost a lot of shape. Not Campbell's fault, he's not going to offer the same work as McClean. We switched off on two set pieces against a decent team and they punished us. They then soaked everything up with relative ease.
If we can keep the key players fit and keep Plan A we'll be OK. Couple of injuries and it might be a different story.

Out of anyone in the bottom half we are the most in form team, I'm not worried in the slightest.

Very concerned. BUT I’ll be shocked if we don’t stay up. We are better than all of the teams around us and at least we have a manager now who will see it as it is and have enough nous to get us over the line.
How we’ve found ourselves in this situation though is absolutely diabolical. Of course it’s no ones fault though least of all the CEO.

It wasn't dogshit. We were as fluent for about 20 minutes of the first half as we have been for a long while. Second half we never really got going again, they scored 2 quick goals and we lost our shape and cohesion. It was a bit of a smash and grab on their part to be fair.

This week us and the bottom three all played two home games - out of them we got three points, Luton got three, Barnsley and Wigan got one. Nobody has closed the gap - would have taken that on Saturday morning.

I was I had some of your confidence! Ever the optimist me Think Luton & Barnsley have had it, and Huddersfield are in free fall, & Hull having sold their 2 best players dont look too healthy

We've been on a good run, and it's pretty mental how we've only managed to stick a fag paper between us and the bottom three.
I can't see how we'll go down, all the same.
Tonight, we were beaten by a more clinical and cynical side.
We're on the right track.

It's not over yet.
Anything can happen in this league and all three teams below us are making a real fist of it/
We're still in this.
Big time.

We should be very concerned.
It's clear as day that if Campbell doesn't play or isn't at his best (no surprise he wasn't tonight...) then we have nothing going forward outside of Powell.
It's terrifying given his record with injuries.

I think we'll stay up, its just annoying even with the good upturn we've had we're not really getting away, just shows how far back we've had to come from.

We need to stop conceding sloppy goals! We needed to sign a proper LB in January not an unfit CB the rest will be history unfortunately mate.

I have been wondering where you were. Glad to see that you are alive and well.
Pure coincidence of course that you show yourself after we lose a game.
So are you ready? Do you have your agenda all set? You can now clip and paste the same old garbage from now until the end of the season?

It’s going down to the wire in my view. We have improved significantly since the Jones debacle but we are nowhere consistent enough yet - work in progress. Head says we should be ok, heart says we are Stoke and fucking anything can happen....

My main concern is that only 1 of the last 10 lowest teams at Christmas has avoided relegation and our players don't seem very concerned.

I'm worried....very worried. If we are not safe before the last five games I really fear for us as we've got Brentford at home and Leeds and Forest away all of these will probably be fighting for promotion or a play off spot And would you really fancy our lot in a last day must win game away from home ?

I think the next 10 games are very important. Only 3 of stokes next 10 games are against top half teams.

This league will throw many a surprise up yet. Clubs will start and kick start or fall away, think we have enough to be safe. Be glad when can finally say we are safe , restart and go again next season

If there was a Blueprint for how clubs get relegated when they were confident of staying up, Stoke would be following that Blueprint perfectly ATM. There are too many charlatans who are happy to put in a shift once every 5 games. Ince, Campbell, BMI being the main culprits. Either way, we will be chewing our nails until the last 3 games.

I think the next 10 games are very important. Only 3 of stokes next 10 games are against top half teams. Looking at the next 10 fixtures of the teams around Stoke it would suggest we've got a significantly easier fixture list. This is how many top half teams each play: 4 of 10 Middlesbrough 5 of 10 Charlton 5 of 10 huddersfield 3 of 10 stoke 5 of 10 wigan 4 of 10 luton 4 of 10 barnsley You'd like to think that in 10 games from now that stoke should gain more points than the majority of those teams around us.
