I followed his loan move to Belgium with interest hoping he may be half decent there and we could get a few quid back if he impressed. He started regularly for Royal Excel Mouscron at the start of the season and he was moved into a defensive midfield role a couple of months into the season. He now seems to have disappeared from the squad these last couple of months. Is he injured? I've done a basic google search but cant find anything.

"Operational" sounds like a good word. Maybe we could use it in some context to describe or rate players performances at Stoke. Is Ince now considered to be "operational" for example.

Wimmer and Imbula.
If Mr Wimmer and Mr Imbula Snr had only been a little less excited and a little less virile all those years ago.....
.....maybe......just, maybe....
.....things could have been so different.
Sliding doors.

Looking at the Belgian top division, Wimmer should avoid a third relegation in a row given his team are 18 points above what I think is the only relegation spot.

Wimmer is the answer!... I'm not sure what the question is though :-) Who is the only footballer in premier league history to lose two 50/50's in the same game to Jesse Lingard?

Give Agent Wimmer some more time, Im sure he will come through Racing certainty that he will shine for us eventually. After all Scholes had him watched 25 times before handing him that MASSIVE contract.

I am sure Peter Coates is every time we pay his weekly wage!!!. Dave..Anymore on Burnley interest in Allen? I'm pretty sure coates is resigned to the fact that he'll go out on loan for the remainder of his contract...if someone is daft enough to take him. Burnley continue to plead poverty so a successful move for Allen, with his astronomical wages, seems very unlikely. On the subject of Burnley, where have they dreamed up 7m for nahki wells from? Same guy who thought they could get 9m for vokes I expect

If anyone's interested... He played today at centre back in a 1-0 defeat to Anderlecht. In the same league, Berahino scored in a 5-0 win for SV Zulte Waregem.

"Operational" sounds like a good word. Maybe we could use it in some context to describe or rate players performances at Stoke. Is Ince now considered to be "operational" for example. In order for that to work, you'd have to have some sort of sliding scale of performance with words to describe each stage of performance: Based on the past 2 years of performances (before MON arrived) I suggest the following (from worst to best performance): Lamp Post Possum (Playing Dead) Sloth Sleeper Agent (for current opposition team) Zombie Oops, I thought I was having a kick about at the local church picnic I'm not sure we have any need for exceptional levels of performance like "operational".

Surely Wimmer would be no worse than our current fit options at centre back? Oh yes he would Was targeted by every player for then league 2 Coventry And destroyed Has no where near the pace or ability required to play in league 2 Lord knows what is level his ? But it's a fact that he is not quick enough or good enough to play in league 2 Making the championship absolutely out of the question

He's as good as any of our current centre half options except for Ryan Shawcross who is never fit. That's not to say he wasn't a complete waste of money at £18m of course!

Agreed he is a waste of money But he didn't ' play' for Stoke in the prem , like Huth , our lord and shawcross , he was ' destroyed ' for Stoke in the prem , week in week out . Basically , having absolutely proved that he is not quick enough to play in the prem He then went out v Coventry , and showed he is not quick enough to play in league 2 either He was so bad , Hughes had a touchline bust up with sobi , and ordered sobi to hold his hand and help him out Embarrassing Not the sort of thing you saw happening to the likes of our lord , shawcross and Huth
