Well I see it as highlighting a potential problem
Before you can sort the problem you have to see the possibility
The club have the information to enable them to minimise the trouble if they want to do it
Sell tickets only to people on the computer system for these high profile games

ManUre sold out their allocation for the Wigan game. I have a housemate who tried getting tickets but couldn't despite knowing a lot of the regulars at their games who usually sell him one.
Any away end sitting in a home end knows it's either shut-up or get what's coming to you. I'm not saying it's right, but anyone who give the big 'un would more than likely be someone who would relish going toe-to-toe.

How many years is it now since there has been genuine crowd trouble at Stoke? Carting off one lonely Manure fan to the taunts of Stokies in the Boothen is hardly 'crowd trouble' is it?
I don't understand how on the one hand we can have a vast increase in glory-hunting/part-time Stokies, but also an increase in traditional (or should that be semi-mythical?) Stoke violence. Doesn't make sense IMO.
