I'm still amazed that people take March's satire as genuine.

March4 will give credit where's it's due, he is a great admirer of TP and rightly so - we all should be IMO he was a legend for us. But it seems like that ship has now sailed and perhaps MON can fill his shoes and take us back to the Premier league, he's at least put some fight back into the team and given us some hope for things to come. Gouranga. When is credit due? He was more than happy to criticise and spam this board with shite before and after MON was appointed but seems a bit more reticent now things are slowly turning round. You can bet your bollocks if Tony had performed this turnaround he'd shouting it from the rooftops. If Tone had been appointed we’d have won the last 13 games straight. All 1-0 of course.

Looking at Nathan Jones' tenure we were always asking ourselves "where is the improvement" or "what has been improved". There was nothing tangible to show for his reign here ever. Step in MON and we can already see, better tactics, better use of personnel and better organisation overall. He still seems to be pretty new here yet we've got a whole bunch of improvements, long may it continue.

So far, MON has done a fantastic job - his biggest achievement for me is developing a coherent shape whilst losing arguably our 2 best, most highly regarded players. That, and the fact that he has instilled steel into a group that would collectively collapse at the first sign of danger. Utterly excellent today after the first 20 minutes, kept a very vibrant dynamic side quiet and created enough chances to have won by more. The most pleasing thing for me is how solid we look at the back - he has instilled confidence in a back 4 and goalkeeper who looked down and out less than 3 months ago - that is testament to not just his nous, but excellent man-management, players are prepared to graft for him, and it was him that was the difference between keeping potentially the best natural finisher we've had since Fuller and losing him.
Got to admit - I was skeptical when we appointed O Neill, but he's won me over. One word of caution - we need to keep pressing on now, if we do carry on as we have recently - we will survive comfortably. I'm off to get pissed - not used to winning so many games in a calender year till about October!!
