8 - great result. They never really looked like winning. Pity about Campbell we needed the mobility.

10. To beat the league leaders on their own turf, although they've had a dip in form recently, was brilliant.

Deffo a 10 tonight, and not just because we won...... It was the way we fought to preserve that lead, and if Gregory could actually score, after Allan's good work, it would have made life a little easier!!!
A few months back under Jones, and that would have definitely been a loss.... O'Neil has given us some belief back!!!

I think we may have a very good manager on our hands here! ... I was initially skeptical when he took over largely because I’d not really heard of him, but he’s won me over in short order, excellent all round tonight, got all his tactics and subs spot on.
Shame we didn’t get him in earlier and maybe we could have had a tilt at the play offs!

10 - more proof we have a proper manager this time.
Team selection and subs were spot on and he had them fired up right from the start which was the only way we'd win that game.

10. Absolutely buzzing after watching that performance. Playing Campbell up front was genius and paid off big style. Superb battling performance from the team, Baath had his best game in a Stoke shirt, and every man gave 100%. Fucking loving MON right now!!!

10.
I he’s started to instill some character back into the club, and that is driving a noticeable change in attitude. It’s a bit cliche to talk about commitment, desire and such, but these are basic traits that every successful team is built on. It was hard to imagine using these terms to describe the vast majority of our players just a couple of months ago, but MON has started to deliver a pretty incredible transformation. We’re a long way from being the finished article, but what a fucking difference he’s making. I’m genuinely excited about seeing where this goes, and it’s been a while since I felt like that.
Also no shortage of tactical knowledge on display tonight. It was a superb performance and should do our confidence the world of good. Finally feels like we have a grown up in charge.
And a special mention to the away support tonight - absolutely fucking glorious.

10* Good start to game, well worked goal. Allen immense. Back 4 fought like tigers and Butland getting back to his best. Like the old days tonight. Great away support as well. Baggies fans very subdued😀.

21st beat 1st. Campbell up top. Defending with guts and position. And a little bit of shithousing which is only conceivable if the players believe.
Best Stoke performance by a mile for a damn good while.

I think MON recognized we weren't creating much today and made the proper subs to defend the 1 goal lead. Normally I don't like sitting back and playing against the clock, but today it was the right move.
definitely a 10 and it's probably the first time I've had faith in one of our managers since Hughes first couple of seasons

10 - great result, spot on subs (esp Gregory) and, dare I say it, some true team spirit starting to shine through - a great, galvanised performance .......

Incredible that any manager could get that performance out of the same group of players who, not long ago, we were calling bottlers, cowards, and who weren’t fit to wear the shirt.
Let’s not get carried away... we will no doubt lose games through to May that we expect to win, but this is a real turning point I think. Anyone who still says they can’t see what improvements he’s made? (you know who you are) 🙂

Every call he made was the right one. The game plan was so apparent and for every bit of great defending we did we got forward and had the better chances.
Class.

As we are judging on management skills it has to be 10.
Started the game with a pacey attack to turn the lumbering centre backs, worked well and would have produced another goal had Campbell not gone off.
A hasty rethink was required at that point and the manager got it spot on. Tiny individual errors aren’t the managers fault but we defended as a unit and actually looked like a ‘team’.
Classic away performance against the leaders. We went and did the job 👍

Got to be a 10.
Turned a rag-bag bunch of losers into what's looking increasingly like a team.
