Whilst there's much wrong with the Club, and has been for years, I always find the tribute to those fans who passed away in the previous year to be an excellent item that the Club has introduced. I can't remember when it first started, but the one yesterday against Millwall was another fitting memorial to the wider Stoke 'family'. It's always very sobering to see fans younger than yourself who have passed on, and there were some awfully young people shown yesterday, so I hope their families found some comfort in these fans making their farewell appearances at the Bet365.

I very nearly had to stop watching that vid. For once we really can say very well done to the club. Some real "old timers" shown there, but such a high percentage that are younger than myself. I haven't finished yet! I am going to have to get moving - I have things that I haven't done yet. Life is simply too short.
At a time of bereavement I was once told that some of us are put on this earth to run a marathon, and other to run the 100 meters.
A fantastic tribute. Thank you.

Nice touch casually mixing fans with former players.

I'd forwarded a pic & details of a family friend who passed away after a long illness in 2019 & have very fond memories of going to the Autoglass Trophy Final with her & other members of her family way back in 1992.
It got me thinking while watching the tributes yesterday as to the amount of Stokies who have passed away during the year, it always seems so many. But also that each & every one of those people featured will have had their own stories, memories & emotions of the ups & downs of their times either playing for or supporting Stoke City.
As others have mentioned it's a great thing the club does & thankfully they do a great job of it. I know it means so much to not only the families of those people shown but also to Stoke fans in general. Its definitely thought provoking & just makes you step back & think for a moment & take stock of life.

I have always thought that the memorium was a nice touch,I don't think many clubs do such a thing but it was more personal for me Saturday as I lost my Dad in August but seeing him on the screen and in the programme, although a little sad put a smile on my face as I remembered all the Stoke related memories I had with him.As has been said elsewhere the football side of the club has not been brilliant recently but stuff like this they do very well indeed.
Cheers Stoke City.

Whenever I see the tributes of those who have left us, I can't help tears falling down my cheeks and I am not ashamed to admit it. We all know the affinity we feel with former managers and players who leave us each year. But, it is my fellow supporters who always get to me. I always think of the things they like us have gone through to follow their beloved Stoke City. It is a lovely gesture by the club to do it, but deep inside, I just wish we could have given them more success to take with them.

That’s one of the most powerful things I’ve watched in a long time.
It really is more than a game. Whatever it is brings us together. As sad as I feel after watching that I also feel that connection.
That special something beyond words that binds us together.
RIP.

The club nail this year in, year out. I never fail to be touched by it and mixing the previous players we’ve had with fans just really adds to the sentiment that we’re just one big family.

It was very moving, it bought a tear or two from me seeing dad up there. Well done and a big thank you to Stoke City, And as for the fans...The best fans in the world Stokies bar none ...dad played his heart out for the fans he never forgot his working class roots and the way stoke city fans made him feel welcome.
Oh yes and the roar from the Boothen end ....what a sound !!

Very moving tribute and no matter whether you personally knew them or not, they're all part of the family. It brings so much more meaning to that simple phrase of "We'll be with you".
Always chokes me up and a hugely fitting tribute to honour collectively.
