The Everton game had everything, most notably Joselu embracing the referee after we were awarded the last minute penalty.

Stoke 3 - 2 Chelsea What a goal that was from Assaidi!! Probably the best mental of the prem years.

Overall nowt beats the thrashing of Liverpool. The comprehensive exorcism of the gloryhunting demons that inhabited the 80s and 90s schoolyard was the stuff of fantasy. It was almost transcendental, something I never ever in a million years dreamed I would see as a kid. Just beautiful.

Spoilt for choice, home v Man City 2 0 Arnautovic, Shaqiri and Bojan literally unplayable arguably the best performance I have ever seen from a Stoke side and Shutting up the scousers by giving Gerard a suitable send off superb but for me a game that typified Stoke, dropping into the bottom 3 after the early kick off result went against us, going a goal down, scoring 2 and getting pegged back again before an 89th minute screamer from Assaidi to smash and grab Chelsea taking the points against them for the first time in about 40 yrs and an absolute mental to finish off, was priceless and tops my list

Really enjoyed us beating Liverpool 3-1 on Boxing Day. Bloody great equalising and going 2-1 up while there was still red smoke from their smoke bomb at the away end

Not a match, but just loved the European adventure. I did Thun and Valencia, just hope we get back there again soon as I have more money behind me so can afford more trips abroad.😂

Chelsea away, Imbula’s only brilliant performance It wasn't a brilliant performance at all. There's a video that people always post to show how good he was in that game and all it shows is him losing the ball He did play well at Bournemouth mind

Just thinking of pure "enjoyment", for me it has to be the FA Cup Semi-Final. Bolton were still a force to be reckoned with and I think were the favorites to win. That "can't believe our luck" feeling as Ethers put us ahead. Getting ready for an anxious 80 minutes as we would undoubtedly defend deeper and deeper, only for Huth to smash the ball home 2-0! And then just being so comfortable with Bolton hardly creating a single chance of note as we strolled home! Our first ever FA Cup final, the pain of those Arsenal Semis being replaced with absolute joy and disbelief that we'd done it and by equalling the record score for a semi. Great times.

Home win v Spurs first season. Don’t think the atmosphere was ever bettered than that game, it had absolutely everything. That was mine too. Soares one and only good game. Penalty, which Higgy scored after the ball kept blowing off the spot. Two sending offs for Spurs (was one Bale?), Gomes in tears, Fuller’s pen that hit both posts, and I got on the telly....

Everton (a) Boxing day 4-3.......Shaq 2 (1 worldie), Joselu and Arnie, they were scared of us. They may have been scared of us going forward but we were shit scared of them at the back and in midfield as well. It had to be won in the last minute because if the game had gone on for five more they probably would have scored again. We got pretty lucky to win it tbh. It was an exciting football match but I never get how Stokies say they "enjoyed" this game (until the last few minutes). edit:- also it wanner boxing day, it was a few days later I agree. I remember I got heavily criticised for turning on our defenders that day, but they weren't good. Sadly I think Hughes felt that too or Shawcross made him reconsider the system, because he was not happy, to say the least, with us having just 5-6 players doing their share of defending. My favourite game is a tie between winning vs Arsenal 3-2 and Citeh 2-0.

That first season was so good as it was so unexpected.. Sadly, myself included, we’d become a bit accustomed to life in the PL so hard to get the same level of excitement.

a lot of the obvious ones have been mentioned already but the Spurs away game when Bojan scored his first goal for us was a cracking performance and super day out as was the 4-3 defeat at Spurs just prior to the Cup Final.
A game I really enjoyed was the Blackburn home game in our first season and that guaranteed our survival. My abiding memory of that game is Paul Robinson firing bombs into our box from all angles and Tommy Sorensen just positioning himself on the edge of his 6 yard box and continually coming to collect the high ball whether it was on the 6 yard box, penalty spot or edge of his 18 yard area.
It was an absolute masterclass of goalkeeping but he made it look so unbelievably easy I'm not sure that anyone even noticed.

All the above. But also Ric's goal and 1-0 win at West Ham. The almost endless singing of his name felt like a deification which was richly deserved for all he had done.

Seconds earlier he was in tears coz we'd had ome disallowed.

Really enjoyed us beating Liverpool 3-1 on Boxing Day. Bloody great equalising and going 2-1 up while there was still red smoke from their smoke bomb at the away end Most of the games I saw live in the Premiership we ended up with a draw or a loss but seeing that game left me absolutely buzzing. The disappointment of that buck toothed bastard going down and rubbing our noses in it in the first 90 seconds made the elation of the next 88.5 minutes the best ever for me. The late kick off, the well oiled crowd, the floodlights, the flare, the animosity towards Suarez and the 3 minute spell where Liverpool's defence had no idea where to go next when even KJ was intimidating. Marvellous!!!

Brilliant scenes in the away end mate from such anger/disappointment to absolute ecstasy inside a minute😄👍Your lad must have absolutely loved it. I remember going into the bookies after on the corner of Street to collect some winnings off the National as well
