All the above. But also Ric's goal and 1-0 win at West Ham. The almost endless singing of his name felt like a deification which was richly deserved for all he had done. We had some eventful times at Upton Pk in the prem with the Griffin/Fuller spat, the Pennant free kick winner,Arnie’s last second equaliser(great mental that nearly killed the Mrs😮😄) and the Fuller game that you mention Obviously Fuller was a dick that day, but the ref asked Griff what happened (or if he'd been hit) and he dobbed Ric in. Could have got away with it..

Birmingham at home when ric scored another unbelievable goal. Fabulous finish that took a slight deflection to beat Foster (I think) No deflection surely. My memory says he got the ball on half way, ambled down a blind alley all alone, I shouted "come on ric you can score from there", he looked up, said "ok deej, no bother", took it past 4 defenders and curled it beautifully past foster without any help from anyone or anything other than my shout

Charlie Adam screamer to win the match v The Shit First league win against them since Boxing Day 1984. Cracking goal from a cracking player. Great feeling at the final whistle.
Other games mentioned were better performances but that one just felt top.

Man City at home, Stokealona in full flow and I went home believing we were going to be something special over the next few years. How we've managed to fuck it up so badly is still baffling.

Stoke 3 liverpool 1 After being 1 down in the first minute we rinsed the dippers
Spurs 0 Stoke 1 Whelans goal The mental Simmo having the game of his life
Stoke 1 Citeh 0 Ten men Raging crowd Beatties goal We were immense that day.
Villa 1 Stoke 4 One nil down Then its the odemwingie show. In the upper tier by the home fans. They were giving it the big un, and 20 minutes from the end they all fucked off lol.
And every win against the scum gooners 👍
Plenty of others too. Most already mentioned.

Thrashing of Liverpool in Gerrard’s last appearance has got to be up there. This would be my choice.

Home win v Spurs first season. Don’t think the atmosphere was ever bettered than that game, it had absolutely everything. When Gomes got bullied? Same game when they kicked it out for a corner instead of a throw in?

There's been a good few to be fair but for the all round package, Spurs away 0-1 Fuller pulling it back for Whelan to smash home. This, for all the obvious reasons and some very personal ones.

Same game when they kicked it out for a corner instead of a throw in? Yes when Gomes cried on the pitch.... the game where the keeper put it out for a corner instead of a throw was Myhill for Hull.

Will never forget that first home game, for last minute mentals, atmosphere, fullers goal and actually beating a very good villa team at the time it wont be beaten.
Chelsea with Assaidi's rocket, my Chelsea supporting Brother and Uncle were in the away end and they'd given me stick my whole life. Probably the closest i've ever been to crying with happiness at a game at how far we had come.

Surely the only answer here is THE 6-1 win.
We absolutely humiliated one of the best teams in the league, one of the 'big 6', a team that we'd historically struggled against and a team that has many plastic fans in the area - all of whom took great joy in laughing at Stoke when we were rattling around in the lower leagues.
I've never known anything like that day. I was running up and down the concourse hugging anyone in arm's reach.
The man city game comes close as I think that's probably some of the best football I've ever seen a Stoke side play, but the 6-1 was something special. On Gerrard's last game too...

Everton (a) Boxing day 4-3.......Shaq 2 (1 worldie), Joselu and Arnie, they were scared of us. They may have been scared of us going forward but we were shit scared of them at the back and in midfield as well. It had to be won in the last minute because if the game had gone on for five more they probably would have scored again. We got pretty lucky to win it tbh. It was an exciting football match but I never get how Stokies say they "enjoyed" this game (until the last few minutes). edit:- also it wanner boxing day, it was a few days later Fantastic match - winning, drawing, losing, drawing and then an injury time penalty winner. It was the pinnacle of the BMX super-slick pass, move and score a beautiful goal revolution. How in the name of God could you have attended and not "enjoyed" this game? Truly ecstatic coming away from the ground. Memorable and very enjoyable.

Truly ecstatic coming away from the ground. Memorable and very enjoyable. Because of all the losing and drawing parts! My arse was twitching every time they got the ball, we were so sloppy at times. Of course I was ecstatic at the end but it was relief as much as joy. I suspect this might be something of a philosophical, or even existential, difference old bean. I love a good ding-dong as a neutral but for my Stoke games I'd rather we were out of sight by half-time for full enjoyment (and even then I'd usually expect us to implode 2nd half )

Didn't go but I'd imagine Villa away in first season would be up there, cracking villa side then pushing top 4, 2 down, 2 late goals including a Whelan rocket!
Start of Villas demise

Chelsea away, Imbula’s only brilliant performance It wasn't a brilliant performance at all. There's a video that people always post to show how good he was in that game and all it shows is him losing the ball He did play well at Bournemouth mind Were you there?

I was there too. I remember it differently. Oh, well, we can agree on one thing. He was a distrustive influence, who probably doesn’t enjoy his job - just the money, which he’ll probably piss away. We should never have wasted our money by deluding ourselves into believing we could succeed where everyone else has failed.

We should never have wasted our money by deluding ourselves into believing we could succeed where everyone else has failed. His 1st couple of games he stood out, driving the play, but the oppostion soon sussed out he was a 1 trick pony who could be led down a blind alley on his 1 and only foot.Plus he's not a team player, refuses to do the dirty work all midfielders are expected to do. I don't like to use the word but he's a cunt and it will a better day for football when he hangs up his boot

Really enjoyed us beating Liverpool 3-1 on Boxing Day. Bloody great equalising and going 2-1 up while there was still red smoke from their smoke bomb at the away end That’s one of the top games for me too. Suarez getting a pen early, we all thought he’d dived, a sulphurous atmosphere thereafter, Walters on fire and the Bin Dippers wilted
