Spar shop in Abergele N / Wales, Ran a boozer there in 94 and the first thing i saw when i went the shop for tea bags was a sandwich board outside stating "Stoke evening sentinel on sale here" Went in and when i paid for my stuff i joked about the paper and said "bet you dont sell oatcakes" actualy we do said the bird serving me, ended up with a standing order till we left.

Lads,I think we've all missed the original thrust of my thread. I actually meant how far away from Stoke have you bought Oatcakes! Thus a map of the UK,where you can buy the aforementioned delicacies.(For when you are away from God's country.) Sorry for any confusion. ;D
