I thought Clucas was MOM for Stoke today Anything half decent normally involves him. He creates and yet he's still usually the player to get on the end of anything we create around the box. Today we take Cousins off and Clucas suddenly becomes our defensive midfield player. Apart from all that he's still the best left back at the club. A shining light in a sea of shit. We really would be in deeper shit without the shusher.

Thought he was his usual self. Anonymous for larges parts of the game but as you rightly said was involved in our better moments.
Ability wise he’s one of our better players but he does drift in and out of games and doesn’t do enough of the ugly stuff for me.

The second last person you would want in the relegation fight we are in. He may be alright if we survive and get several people in who will cover his total lack of defensive nous. On the plus side, he is dangerous in the opposition third and can score. On the negative side, he waves his arms sufficiently to conduct the London Philohomonic and really thinks his duties cease 10 yards our side of the halfway line. He may score the goal that keeps us up, equally it may be his man who appears in our box, unmarked, to send us down. Nowhere near our worst player, but nothing special either.

I was watching Steven nzonzi dominate yaya Toure a few years ago.
Now I have to debate Sam fucking clucas as some sort of inspiration.
Not even going bother commenting on him

Worryingly he seems to be our best bet for a goal most of the time!!!

Probably the best we had to offer today. Thrashing around in a system that offers no consistent attacking approach whatsoever.
