No-one's going to say we were perfect today but that was a team of warriors right up to the very end. Cheers lads for the Christmas present and bigger cheers Mick for screwing them up to warrior pitch to deliver it. That's what we brought you here for and it's a joy to see it working (on the days when it does work). Not under any illusions that we've suddenly changed from pussies to warriors and won't ever slip back - but this Boxing Day, against imo seriously useful opposition, really does show the way.
9* from me

First half 9* Second half first 10 minutes 9* Second half 10 to 45 minutes 5* Second half 45 to 52 minutes 10*
We played so well for 50 odd minutes. Then 2 corners and we were gone. The subs lacked enthusiasm for the crowd but they hit the jackpot. The fact we kept going is credit to MONs tactics/training.
Well done lads.

Even when we were down 2-1 and I wanted to jump off a bridge I was saying to myself “this isnt MON’s fault, we’ve been in position to score countless times”

Not bad from a bloke who doesn’t know what he is doing.
Imagine if he was 100% committed.....

He needs to shift from this 433 at all costs mentality. I'm convinced it was the 2nd goal for Sheff Wed that made him shift to 442 and go man for man, else I dread to think where we would have ended up with Campbell up front on his own, which just doesn't suit him at all.

Every win is 10 now.
Not about performance or how we get the 3 points, we just have to start winning matches somehow and we managed it today.
That said, we were miles the better team today and at 2-1 down you wondered if we had some kind of curse. Team were solid today and put in a great shift/effort for the 90.
Butland, for me, is a massive, massive worry, he could have done better with both their goals and they were literally the only thing he had to do today. Another manager with a blind spot re Butland. Love Butland and wish him the best for his future wherever it is, but I think it would be a good move for both Stoke and him if he moved on to a decent club with some good GK coaches.

Got to be a 10* subs won us the game and apart from the 2 corners which they scored from - Jack didn't have to get his kit dirty. Superb mental at the end, and quite rightly stuffed it to Gary the cunt Monk and his horrible dirty team. Gouranga.

9 O'Neil now has 13 points from 9 games, and 3 goals in injury time, and 3 goals or more on 3 occasions. If we can keep this up (here's hoping).

Seen them now First goal is a bit of a freak, Butland no chance Second one was a good delivery but no Stoke defenders get anywhere near it, Butland does incredibly well to block the first effort and is unlucky not to keep it out. Butland not at fault

Butland not at fault Butland must be incredibly unlucky and have wank players in front of him then because it’s almost every week. The bloke is done at even this level. Get him gone along with a raft of others and we might regain something of a team that is capable of competing consistently rather than struggling to stay in this division.

On 90 minutes would have given him 1. Subs much too late and ended up chasing the game. But the fact we rdcovered will give him a 6.

8*, I almost thought he'd bottled it again with only minutes to go which would have dropped him down to 6....
But then we got the equaliser, and instead of being happy with a point, we pushed everyone up to go for the win, which shows he does have balls!!!

9. He’s a bloody good manager, I fully expect him to sort us out given time and a bit of patience. Yes mate that's been my view for a while. He's an intelligent, pragmatic manager. I wasn't for him before he arrived but you can tell he knows what he's doing, he's going about his business and finding out about the squad week by week. There'll be plenty of ups and downs along the way but I'm absolutely convinced he'll nail it given a few months.
