O'Neil suggested that they dont use goal line technology in this league yet on awarding the goal the ref held his watch in the air suggesting technology gave it.
Can anyone clarify?

Yep defo do. The goal against Bristol given exactly the same.
Hes getting confused with VAR which I think would have awarded us a penalty.

It was introduced under Shaun Harvey at the time he ran the EFL in 2017 for the 17/18 season according to this Guardian Article
