It’s at times like these that this forum (maybe we could call it a community....???) really makes sense.
Who else could understand why, when something brings you so much misery and grief, you keep coming back for more? Who else other than fellow mentalists.
And where else, apart from at the match, can we gather to argue, sympathise, bitch, whine, and occasionally celebrate.
So thanks to all the moderators. And Happy Christmas. Who knows, maybe in a couple of years we’ll look back from the Premier League and smile smugly. Or, more likely, we’ll stand in the pissing rain in Scunthorpe wondering where it all went wrong.
Either way hopefully this message board will still be here to offer us all a place to gather.
