Rudiger should have been sent off, the cheating cunt.

Not a thick as Anthony Taylor though. Why can't VAR decide both are sent off, Son for 'violent conduct', Rudiger for cheating. Diving and cheating are slowly killing the game.

Rudiger should have been sent off, the cheating cunt. It’s what they do though and Son handed it to him on a plate.........agree that it’s all pathetic and killing the game for a lot of supporters....

The game has changed for the very worst.

Anybody else see Rudinger making a monkey gesture and pointing at what seemed like a player straight after the sending off?

Anybody else see Rudinger making a monkey gesture and pointing at what seemed like a player straight after the sending off? Yeah, saw it. They've just been on about it as well on the commentary.

Anybody else see Rudinger making a monkey gesture and pointing at what seemed like a player straight after the sending off? Saying it's coming from the stands. Either way, disgraceful.

I agree with the last sentence - I’m starting to loathe top tier football and all it’s self-importance and petulance For me, it wasn’t the challenge he was sent off for it was the childish jerk up of his legs straight after that looked like studs were brandished and the guy made a Fucking meal of it - Son should have known better and has let his side and fans down ......IMHO

Let's face it that boot is not going to hurt anyone...surely a sending off is for dangerous play? That foot is not remotely dangerous. If it's not dangerous then why is it a sending off exactly??? Someone please explain why? I'm completely missing it!!! Are we going to send someone off for telling an opponent to 'bugger off'????..... because that is about the equivalent.

It's dangerous to swipe up at someone's midriff with both feet with your studs up isn't it? I'm not sure what's bad about punishing that petulance in football to be honest.

Racism needs to be stamped out of football.
We are going backwards as a society.

Why couldn't he have just booked him if he thought it was potentially dangerous (which I don't think it was even with the most vivid imagination) a horrible trend imho.

It's becoming more prevalent because of global politics and the shift towards right wing parties, particularly those with leaders who have said racist things themselves.
If the tone is set from the top then is it any wonder it starts to be seen as acceptable from those at the bottom?

Spurs have appealed the red card, so they seem to agree with some on here, that Rudiger may have made a meal of it.
Spurs fans would have been giving Rudiger all sorts of shit, just as we did to Danny Rose. Sadly, some of this appears to have had a racial element, which is TOTALLY unacceptable

It really is some things he wrote 10-15 years ago are responsible for football fans being racist today its laughable, some football fans shout racist things because some football fans are racist its that simple, sorry the player had to put up with this but with all the cameras around its very good of racists to self ID themselves, I imagine the prison time, ban from football and loss of their job may make other stupid racist twats keep their mouths shut in future.
