Got an impressive CV in television and entertainment, and stayed in the public eye for many years. Finally, if you were in The Sweeney then you were good. RIP Kenny.

Always liked his version of ,'Up on the Roof'. The missus told me he penned 'Shal La La La La La Lee' as sung by The Small Faces. As said, one for us older members'.

Had a single amazing Lynchy moment in 1986 when I was still (yikes) a big Status Quo fan and we had front row tickets for their Xmas Hammersmith Odeon show. Encore time and they did their cover of Bye Bye Johnny and wheeled out Kenny and Lemmy, who shared a microphone. Cracking performance and the man could sing. RIP

Remember him getting called an Uncle Tom and getting dog's abuse on Central Weekend once. Thought it was a bit unfair as he always seemed a decent guy.
