We will 100% concede, depends whether we can score more than 1.

I'm going 4:4. Butland to be sent off, Ince to set up Baath with an impossible cross and Luton to miss a pen in last minute with Stephen Ward in nets.

Luton have been brilliant recently away too. Here's their away form for October and November: Played - 5 Won - 0 Drawn - 0 Lost - 5 Goals scored - 3 Goals against - 17 Don't kid yourself guys, we haven't got a chance. Come on down to the 365, for the club that just keeps on given Goal droughts, records that need to be broken, dong worry we will help anyone to get back on the right road to recovery

He has to make changes. That performance on Saturday was completely unacceptable. Allen and Woods out for starters would be a big plus, Etebo and NDiaye in, Vokes out, Gregory in, Batth out, Collins in, Butland out, Fedders in.
I'd give Diouf a go up front. He's not fit.

It's even better than that. They haven't won an away game since September, conceding 20 goals in 6 games. Nailed on for them to win then 😱

We are in dire straits, we should be easily beating teams like Luton but they will turn us over. Please never, ever come mountain walking with me.

To put tonight's game into some kind of perspective, when Peter Coates regained control of the club in 2006 both Stoke and Luton were Championship clubs.
They were relegated to League One at the end of the 2006/07 while we just missed out on the play-offs. The following season we were promoted to the Premier League and Luton were relegated to League 2.
Our first season in the Premier League also saw Luton relegated to the Conference following a 30 point deduction. Luton spent fives seasons in the Conference while we were in the Premier League, playing in an FA Cup Final and in the Europa League.
They were promoted back to the Football League in 2013/14 (our first season under Hughes and our first ninth placed finish). They were then promoted to League One in 2017/18 (our relegation season) and then followed that with promotion to the Championship last season.
They have done superbly to lift themselves back up to a level that their fans more or less took for granted, but for us to be in position in which we are now six points behind them and actually worried that we may lose a game that would hammer a nail firmly in our coffin this season is little short of a disgrace.

I've typed and deleted whole posts about us losing tonight as I don't want to be a miserable, pessimistic bugger but when you see that and know how we are performing I really cannot see anything other than a routine 2 or 3 goal defeat tonight. As good as down before Christmas is here. Please Stoke, don't let that happen. It's humiliating. Have some pride.

You are getting overly optimistic, people were talking about the playoffs after beating Barnsley then look what happened. Let's be honest we are a very poor side who beat an even poorer side, 'If's that's possible', so let's not get carried away.

We are in dire straits, we should be easily beating teams like Luton but they will turn us over. From the moment you become a Stoke fan it's like stepping through the looking glass. Everything is the opposite of what it should be. We're on a good run of form and everybody thinks we'll win? You just know we'll lose. An opposition player hasn't scored for five seasons? Put your money on him to score against us. We're worse than useless and we'll lose to Luton? Guaranteed 3-0. It's ever the way

Or a reminder that it's all a big roundabout. Teams rise, teams fall. No one wins all the time. Enjoy the good times (i bet the people who griped their way through our 9th place finishes feel stupid now), endure the bad times -they will get better.
