A much quoted phrase but they did indeed make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
They should never be forgotten and every generation should be eternally grateful.

God bless all who gave their lives their future so that we might live free from suppression, I lost a granddad in WWII my uncle was held captive in Berma, I have lost five mates in conflict zones including NI, today is a reminder of not just my closest my lost muckers but all the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, we must never forget them.

Dee this phrase says it all as well. “When you go Home, tell them of us and say, For your Tomorrow, we gave our Today” John Maxwell Edmunds 1916

There's no rows of white crosses for the men who died at sea. RIP shipmates. Lest we forget all those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom
