What are the main challenges facing the new government? You mean apart from a total lack of political nous and knowledge of the real world? The central problem is the lack of true radicalism. When this country was great, we didn't have the welfare state, a National Health Service or free education. What we did have was an empire, no income tax and a fucking big navy. You don't need a PhD to work it out, do you?
I like Leicester, they deserve their position in the Prem. I remember a few seasons ago when they came to the Brit and at that time they were top of the championship, it was a FA cup game, and we easily beat them 2-0, it was like a training session for us. Wow they have come good and fair play to them.
I don't like Rodgers, but he is an incredible manager.
If Arsenal or Man Utd sack their managers, Brendan should be their first call.
He will never get the United job because of Liverpool
I think blowing the title in the 13/14 season and then the decline in the season and a quarter after exposed Brendan's tactical limitations to cut it at a big club. He's doing very well now though, maybe he's learnt from his mistakes.
