Have a monopoly when it comes to leg breaks
JB™️ (@gunnerpunner) Tweeted: And also, spare me with your ‘poor Son’ takes when he’ll be back by December whilst Gomes has just had his leg snapped in half. The injury doesn’t happen if Son isn’t trying to cheat.

It’s never a photo of themselves.

Pulis created an image nobody at Arsenal could stand so the idea of the two clubs coming together was never going to happen.

The way Everton and Spurs conducted themselves in this situation is first class all round, managers and players both.

You're right Pulis had created such an atmosphere between the two clubs that their reaction to Ramsey's injury was almost inevitable. The feeling between the fans does go way beyond that though.

Shouldn't have been a red. It should always be about how bad the tackle was rather than the resulting injury which was never intended.

Felt sorry for Son it wasn’t a bad tackle and he was clearly very upset. Just one of those unfortunate things hopefully the lad will come back the same player. Very classy from Coleman.

Storey scored both Arsenal goals in the 2-2 draw at Hillsboro’, the first a deflection and the second a penalty. Hardly against the rules or spirit of football- even though he was a dirty little shit- of course Arsenal have never had players who would leave their foot in if you lissten to the angels of the south.

I think he scored both goals in the 70/71 semi including the penno. And I remember Storey Karate kicking John Mahoney at the Vic and getting sent off. Even as a young lad I was fuming. He was a proper shithouse and ended up doing a lengthy stretch in chokey. Not for assaulting Mahoney though.

Not just against us. Had several criminal convictions, a friend of Tommy Adams (worked for him as a driver) head of the London Crime Syndicate known as the A Team who have been linked with 25 murders, money laundering, drug smuggling, trafficking, prostitution etc. Storey also ran an illegal brothel, ended up as a chauffeur in Istanbul for Qatari royal family members. His autobiography is entitled "True Storey: My Life and Crimes as a Football Hatchet Man"

So sorry for the Gomes guy at Everton. Just like Ramsey he got his foot stuck in the turf as a tackle came in from a player who did not intend to inflict such a serious injury. Good luck mate.

Isn't it more about taking the player out of that situation though? Red card was a mercy - no way he could have played on and you cannot rely on Managers to have subs or do the right thing. Correct decision.

The difference between the treatment of Son and Shawcross is an absolute fucking joke.
Both left the pitch crying, one is a monster and the other is such a nice caring compassionate person who couldn't have possibly meant it.
Neither's tackle actually caused the break - but one plays for that Rugby team Stoke so, fuck him.
Wankers.

Correct decision. That's not the refs decision to make. If the player's suffering it's for the manager to replace him. If it's a red card challenge then fair enough. If it isn't, then that shouldn't be the ref's call.

If it isn't, then that shouldn't be the ref's call. The ref has discretion (stated clearly in the rules) with guidance also given, so yes, it is absolutely their decision. In the context of the match, with what actually happened, I don't think he honestly had much choice, though I do get your point.

Peter Storey?
Once walked the width of the Victoria Ground pitch to the Boothen Stand side (before the days of a million cameras) whilst the ref sorted out a spat involving Alan Ball in front of the Butler Street stand, to kick a Stoke player who was already on the ground!!!
Has always summed up the Arse for me, deplorable club.

Don't forget their hissing when they play Spurs or their chants aimed at Adebayor after the Togo coach attack. Didn't one of them Tweet about hitting pregnant women in Stoke? Absolute scum club supported by vermin.
