As an exile I've always tried to arrange my returns to the Potteries to correspond with a home game. I'm having serious doubts about whether I really want to go and see the shambles that's on offer on my next trip, however.

No, what difference would it make? They sack jones, then what? We bring in a fat old bloke who takes us down anyway and nothing changes at the top. How do you know I would take us down, I aint had a interview yet

Great plan🤨 Well no, that's not what I said. Although in fact, it is what I would do! We won't remove anyone at the top, and I personally don't think there is anyone better we could get to manage. For me, we stick with Jones until he gets it right or until someone worth sacking him for comes along. Again, that's my personal opinion before anyone starts crying into their keyboards in disgust.

Nobody is better than Jones who we could get? I can't believe that. For me, I look for long-term planning managers, because we need way more than a sticking plaster. And looking at the long term types around that we could get, I honestly don't see anyone better. Genuinely unless an exciting, long-term name comes up, I'd stick with Jones until the end of the season. We all acknowledge that we need a big rebuild, and he hasn't got it right so far, but we absolutely need a manager that tries to build something long term, because a TP-style sticking plaster just leaves us back at square one in a years' time. (IMO he'd relegate us anyway). At least Jones has the possibility, however slim, of getting it right long term.

I would be more hopeful if he had a clue in the transfer market. If you can't even get players to suit your style, how can you succeed?

I would back a boycott of Bet 365. It would barely register , and how would they even know? Their customer base is global.

And more of a chance long term than any other manager mentioned. I agree some of the signings are poor, but some have shown promise, and he has proven elsewhere he can get these decisions right. He's had two windows, one of which he was reluctant to spend properly in, and I'm leaning towards wanting to give him 2 more should we stay up, probably 1 more if not.

Is West Brom the time for a 15 minute boycott similar to that of the Bradford game in 97?
Hopefully West Brom wouldn’t score just as we walk in, like Bradford managed to that night 😂

Would you stay away or back a movement to show your discontent? With the board seemingly sleepwalking into another relegation what options do we have? No, now move on

I’m not sure what boycotting will do but the club must absolutely dreading March time when the season tickets go on early bird sale. It’s going to hit them big time

They'll be down to the pre-2008, 14,000 die hards again soon anyway?
