This group of players don't care. They get relegated, and they're that good they're bound to be snapped up by another Champ or even PL club. Will they? People were saying this when we got relegated. The simple fact is nobody wants to pay good money for any of these players. This is the same with Sunderland when they carried on sliding. They still had international players in their team and no one came in with a reasonable offer.

Are you being serious? They've sacked 4 managers in around 6 years, invested millions in new players and given the club ten years in the PL. The managers they appointed all had good records, Pulis, Hughes, Lambert, Rowett and Jones, under the the first two we enjoyed some of the best years in our history. The fact that there has been a serious decline means the owners have made mistakes, but to suggest the Coates family doesn't care or has run the club badly in the last twelve years is plain wrong.
They have most certainly run the club badly. How can you dispute that? I await the answer with baited breath. It's quite clear SCFC is being run badly. I can smell the stench of decay even from where I live.

They have most certainly run the club badly. How can you dispute that? Because since PC returned to the club we have enjoyed one of the most successful periods in our history.
Mistakes yes, I wouldn't have sacked Pulis, I wouldn't have sacked Hughes with just 15 games of the season left and I'm not even sure Rowett was dealt with correctly.
Nathan Jones is very lucky to still be the Stoke manager, whether the supporters who want him out are right or the owners who want to keep him are remains to be seen.

Where we sit in The Championship this season indicates more than mistakes and media noises imply there are things happening that have not been correctly dealt with. Something or someone is wrong and it's being left way too long. Mistakes or not that is worrying stewardship from the top.

The woefully late replacement of Hughes and the way his successor was appointed was a complete balls-up.... and it has continued to the point we now find ourselves at.

I'm wracking my brains trying to remember a club keeping a manager on with such a poor record, certainly not many in recent history, most managers would have been down the road weeks ago. I assumed he'd go in the international break after the terrible loss at Brum... i was absolutely certain he was gone after Huddersfield, id have put my house on it, yet here we are, just bizarre behaviour from the club, even putting a caretaker in charge for 5 games couldn't do us any harm.
