Clearly the dilemma facing the board is that the tried and tested ex premiership managers won’t touch us, they, the board, will not shop abroad, they have tried and failed miserably with up and coming championship manager and up and coming division 1 manager so just who can they turn to? They have gambled that he can turn it around, I am convinced that the 2 wins were because the players though he was on his way out so extra effort out of guilt or a need to showcase for a new manager, that has now failed. The board simply has to act, but for that to happen something has to give at board level, it’s either a desperate out of work champ manager ;Coates senior choice, or a manager from abroad ,Coates junior choice. One thing is abundantly clear, where we are going we do not need a chief executive and sadly jobs will go across the club and supporting businesses.

The problem is the board are paralysed by a Hamlet complex. Totally unable to make a decision at key times even though they know that a decision needs to be made. Thus they dither and prevaricate because its not the right time and next week will be better, one more game and so on. This continues until its too late, and the team cant be pulled out if the death spiral, but to try you end up over paying someone to come in a perform a miracle, which most people cant.

I’m convinced they never made a decision to back him , we just won a couple of games while they were dithering and they hoped this would save them from having to make a decision or do anything.

I hink this is pretty much it mate. They probably sounded out a couple of the bigger names and got snubbed in the process?

The issue is, if they dont sack him.
Anyone coming to the club will slack off cos they know 6 Wins in their tenure is good enough.
We gonna be seen as easy pay day for little to no effort. I can honestly see us having Harry Rednap quick payday at this rate! (still be an improvement over NJ)

How long is this experiment going to go on! Everyone can see he isn't up for the task! People need to stop fooling themselves and this is especially directed towards the board! ACT NOW!!!!

Can we afford to poach a manager who is in work,or will it be a poor one who is out of work? I hear jose is out of work atm, surely if hes given a transfer budget of 300-500 million he might be interested in the job. Thats what he usually spends in three years at a club right?
