Fulham came out for the second half with more pace and pushing further up the pitch. They were bound to change something, and we lost our shape for a short while, but we regained it and never stopped working together. An excellent game of football. 9*

You joyless twat! H It was horrible. He’s just won his second game all season and he’s acting like he’s won the World Cup. I don’t like that sort of thing anyway nevermind when you’re lucky to still be in a job. No humility at all. Think it was pure relief that him and the team had got another win following the Swansea result. Also feel he felt he owed the fans after the shit form we've been in Bayern. Some managers will walk down the tunnel and show no emotion, if he does that he gets hammered for not caring. He wears his heart on his sleeve and I'd rather that aslong as we've won the game than some miserable fucker.

10* Home win against a decent Fulham team, clean sheet, and little lads first game ending in a win. Can't ask for more than that from Jones and the team, thanks for making a little stokies first of many a special one!

Did you want us to win to today ? Yes. He’s not going to sacked is he? So hope is lost on that front. Do you want us win the next match then ?

Can't fault a good result like that! Have you been converted - like Paul on the road to Damascus? For me the jury is still out, although I have taken off the Black Cap, but it is still at my right hand. The Guillotine is poised as before, all he has to do is keep winning....simple!

10* fkin wonderful display and a lot of passion with it. Call me fickle and all that I couldn’t give less of a shit to be honest but I want the guy to get a bit of time considering how well we’re doing and how much the players like him

I can't really give it a full 10 but for me the most heart-warming game for a few years. Team fighting for every ball 1-11. Looked organised to a point, no mistakes, team did not cave and for me, that was technically the best team we have played since we came down, the ball at times seem to be Glued to their feet, but we always had numbers surrounding the ball.
10 out of 10 for the 1st half as we gave as good as we got, but the 2nd half we conceded possession far too easily, they started getting overlaps a bit too easily also, but that said we had a you will not pass mentality and apart from the header at the end they were reduced to a handful of shots from outside the box.
The midfield is now looking strong for this division although we may struggle if any of them pick up injuries. CV is growing on me in defence as is our keeper, Batth was brilliant yesterday and we know Bruno is easily good enough at this level after that though we are desperately short of strength in depth in defence - should any of those players pick up injuries or suspensions and it still equates to playing square pegs. Fingers crossed we can keep them all healthy to the Window and we can keep playing like this and picking up as many points as possible.
Relieved Stoke supporter - could not see us doing anything but lose these 2 games given the form going into them and had we done that we would be 9pts a drift(does not bear thinking about). Suicidal decision by the board to keep NJ but given that said replacements only managerial experience was Shamrock Rovers I am praying that NJ can keep up the good work and we dont have to endure a Coates family appointment.

7.5 for me.
Should've Taken Campbell off 15 minutes before he did.
Plus points for Mclean.
But I do think we were lucky to come away 3 points there.
I wouldve taken a draw before kick off. They had some seriously mental tactics tapping it about at the back, he got the first half very right.
Second half I think we shouldbe bought Hogan on much earlier.

Sometimes I am somewhat of a conspiracy theorist like Bayern about the whole clusterfuck that has been stoke city for quite sometime however, I find it quite inexplicable again, that someone purporting to support stoke city would begrudge that manager on that particular occasion, relieving the immense pressure he has been under that comes from securing that particular win. The fella like it or not, has been under immense pressure and perhaps ott as maybe it Was, it just showed that he is very human and cares for the club as much as any one of us. As they say 'theres nowt so queer as folk'

The key thing is Allen as attacking mid which is his best position, he's able to press and make a nuisance of himself and forces their defenders into making mistakes which the 2 forwards can take advantage of .

It's looking a lot more promising now.
A much more sensible XI being picked and things are finally looking up and we're punching our weight.
