Might aswell wait till after swansea now for the international break, bit of extra time for the new manager to prepare for his first game No. Wether we win or lose with Jones in charge is irrelevant. If they can’t a permanent replacement in by the weekend I’d rather win or lose under a caretaker. Delay?

He should have gone after The brum game, it was the perfect time to let him go but they dithered.

10:21 precisely.
Gives Pardew time to wake up, slip his mistress a length, go down for a full english and then over to Clayton Woods for the midday press conference.....

I still think he will be the manager for Swansea and last night was his last home match in charge.

I still think he will be the manager for Swansea and last night was his last home match in charge. I've been supportive of Jones for longer than his results have merited, until the Forest game I still thought he could've turned it around. But he has to go now not after the Swans game, it's not going to turn under him and we need a fresh face in the dugout, even if only as a caretaker.

He should never have been in charge last night. It was an atrocious decision, lessons learnt my arse.
Jones has been a dead man walking for weeks and should have gone in the last international break, but after Fridays capitulation with the importance of last nights game it was ludicrous to think that keeping him in charge for such a massive opportunity for 3 points was a good idea.
A caretaker would have had a slight chance of breathing new life.
Defeat last night has effectively doomed us to relegation already barring a miracle.

A lot of Jones reactions and news stories have dissappeared off the Stoke Home page unless im looking in to it too much.
The Hogan, McClean Irish call up is the main headline again which was announced before the Huddersfield Game.

Got a feeling nothing is going to happen today Lunacy, it's in the best interests of the club and Nathan for line to be drawn and quickly.

He’ll be in charge, one more game before international’s. Coates can dither a bit more over the break.

It's gotta be done by lunch time ? Meetings going on now at a guess... They've got to sack him and get a replacement announced ASAP to prepare for Saturday. Surely

I have a horrible feeling that they're going to do what they did with Rowett, and make him go out and manage the team at Swansea in front of a considerably less sympathetic support when everybody knows he's already gone.

Several times last night I saw players 'answer back' or react negatively to NJ instructions/beratments.
Unfortunately the lads have clearly lost belief in him and it's been pretty abundant for a few week now that he's lost belief in his own ideas (different formations/chopping and changing).
For all parties it's better to have it happen today, been a shame but it's over now Nathan.

Yeah there one instance where Etebo was taking a throw and Jones was pointing and screaming for him to give it to the CM, he played it to Bruno instead and NJ threw his arms up and walked away. A bit after Bruno was walking to take a throw in and Jones was urging him to get the ball and take it quicker, Bruno gestured erratically as if to say "I'm going arent I?" and Jones didnt react much at all. I've never really criticised Jones on this board but he cut a really helpless figure on the touchline last night.

Last night as well... half time subs, just dicking about. It's just shades of the lord (Abdoulaye) rocking up in flip flops at Chelsea. Forunately he got put in his place.
Seems to me that half / possibly more of the squad literally dont give a toss. They talk a good game and claim they're this and that, but ultimately if the manager hasn't got his team behind him, it was doomed from the beginning.
