Definitely but I think sacking Solskjaer would help.
They like us have the main issue of the owners (different reasons for the two clubs) and the CEO being useless.
But under that, both clubs have a manager massively out of their depth.

I said exactly this to a Man. U. supporter about 2 months ago. Trainee Manager with a poor mixture of players who aren't interested in the club or it's supporters. They are in need of a strong Manger, the same as us. A Manager who will get stuck into them to make them play for the shirt. Man. U's Manager is the same as ours. He doesn't get respect from the dressing room, because he's done nothing as a Manager. Plus our Manager hasn't played at a decent level, in order to command respect from our senior players.

I've said it to quite a few people too. They'll never struggle as badly as us but the comparisons are there at the minute. Mismanagement, bad recruitment, naive manager, it's all there.

But under that, both clubs have a manager massively out of their depth. Giving him the job at the time that they did, must be one of the most ridiculous recent decisions in football. Woodward was under absolutely no pressure whatsoever to give him the job permanently and could easily have waited to see how things panned out by the end of the season but he still, on a whim, gave it to him anyway. He should hand in his resignation when Solskjaer's fired.

But under that, both clubs have a manager massively out of their depth. Crouchy was making an interesting point about their CEO - their owners probably don't think he's useless at all. They're sitting on the other side of the world looking at balance sheets and record profits so they probably think he's doing a magnificent job... Any similarities with Stoke end there, of course.

"But it may be that a squad this piecemeal, patched together from the remnants of four very different managers’ inclinations under a board that has demonstrated little in the way of football expertise, makes the act of management almost impossible."
This is what I take from that article. NJ's job is a monster. He needs a bit more time and we have to be patient. It's frustrating but we just have to keep calm.

There's no reason to think he can get it sorted.

Did you see that linesman's arse go, when he put the flag up? Easily onside. Thank goodness for VAR. That would have been a travesty, had that been disallowed!

The Butland mistakes have cost us dear and its been fatal to our confidence. He needs till xmas and I am prepared for that to be the case.

Two clubs expecting success although very different success, employ a hugely inexperienced manager to manage a bang average side (relatively to recent years)
