I'm there now. We're a certainty. It's been in the wall for a long time but this is our Sunderland season. I cant even count on us picking up enough wins to give a bit of hope. We're fucked.

Get Pulis in now, very little time left to even give us a chance of staying up.

I definitely think that we are heading for relegation.Besides not being good enough the lack of any sort of fight is frightening. Rowett and Jones have left us with a right shower of shit.

I don't think there is a manager dead or alive who could keep this shot shower of a club up. He would have to work with the worst squad of players this club have ever had,he would have to work with the people who have fucked this club up over the past 3 1/2 years.
It's coming to the point where we will be relying on the team's above us dropping points.
I think we are going down,it would not surprise me if we were relegated again next season into Div 2.for the first time in the club's history. That is how bad this club is at the moment.

Wycombe and Accrington beckon. Frightening. We could be a division below Wycombe. Newport County may be on the cards though.

No doubt about it, we are now on the brink. A loss against Barnsley, and we can start checking out away support pubs around Donny and Rovrum. The thing is, we're in a position where it's not even about getting 3 points from Barnsley.
During Bolton's great escape 2 years ago, although they too had 8 points after 15 games... the gap from bottom to safety was only around 4 points. Our gap is currently 6 points, with an inferior goal difference.
So not only do we need to win, we also need the teams above us to drop points too so we can stay in touching distance.

Yes, this board have allowed us to sleepwalk into the third tier.
These players are not only a disgrace to the club, but a disgrace to the profession.

Serious question though, I realise there may be other alternatives, but given a simple choice of this or those Pulis years you are clearly not fond of, would you rather have those purported shit Pulis years or this shit? Compared to this, Jones, Rowatt, Lambert, most of Hughes tippy tappy fragility, I would still rather be that team and place that everyone loathes with the horrible Pulis in charge pissing everyone off. That was our identity and those what wanted different now have it. I for one would be relived if we got the anti-Christ back.

We're reverting to the same basic mistakes again. Last man trying to play offside, experienced centre halves stopping, no one closing down and letting people shoot.
I thought O'Neill might've been the man to turn it round but with this current bunch we're reliant on Barnsley, Luton & someome else being worse than us unless there's wholesale change in January (& even that's got its obvious pitfalls).

If this squad were playing in the 4th.div.this season, they wouldn't be good enough to finish in the top 7.

We’re gone, there is no turning this around. The question is when do we hit the bottom. I don’t know if League 1 will offer much solace, but this is almost too painful to carry on with
